Philio 4in1 - No idea what most of the subdevices are

Post by Thijsvr »

So I have a Philio 4in1 doorsensor (PST02-A). Hooked it up without any problems, but there are more devices than I anticipated and they're not clearly named. Please also have look at the below screenshot. These are the supported functions: PIR, Door/window, temperature and illumination.

Image

I have not renamed any of the devices, apart from the doorswitch where I've only added "voordeur" to the name. Obviously the lux and temperature sensor can also be clearly seen. So 334, 303 and 301 are accounted for. Leaves 333, 332, 300 and 335.

I'm guessing on their workings that the 335 is the PIR and 300 is the tamperswitch, but I'm not sure.
I've read things that a time-out needs to be added to the motion sensor to turn it back off, but I don't know how to do that. Would anyone be able to help me identify these subdevices?

Hey Thijs,

Have you been able to find a solution to get the motion sensor working?
I'm having the same issues, Temperature, door/window contact and light sensor all work like they should but the Motion sensor is not sending any trigger updates.
I think it has something to do with the Sleepmode/update sequence, like in you're screenshot the "Last seen" for ID0000300 is 18:49 while all other PST02 sensors update almost immediately.
Searching the forums and internet shows tha more users have issues with the Philio PST02 and Zipao Multisensor Quad (which is basically the same device build by Philio) in Domoticz.

Update:
Found the solution. The motionsensor is called Burgler by default, edit and change the Switch Type to Motion Sensor and change Off Delay to less than 10sec.

Please tell us.
I've got two of these sensors. One functions fine; movement is detected correctly and the sensor state goes off after a while.
The other one stays on constantly.

How did you fix this?

Hello all,

I also just bought 2 3in1 sensors (PST02-B) with temp / lux / motion / temper.
Somehow I also don't get the motion sensor to go to OFF state.

I tried to change the BURGLAR to type Motion and updated the PIR Redetect Interval to 1 tick (8 seconds), but somehow it remains in ON state.
It does seem to send an ON signal when motion is detected, but last night also every 30 minutes approximately we received an ON signal, interfering with normal motion detection.

Does anyone have a suggestion?
Help is much appreciated.

I think I found it by using the Domticz setting for timeout.
Seems to reset to OFF after 10 seconds now.

Yes: Configuration is important to get this motion sensor to work
In the Devices look for the Philio entries and find the name Burglar
Add this Light/Switch device (green arrow)
Rename (important) to something you like (PIR-entrance or so) and click on Add Device
Then goto the Swithes, find your new switch and click on Edit
Change Switch type to Motion Sensor
Change Off delay to 4 seconds (if you use LUA scripts it doesn't matter)
Save

That should make it work
