pepeEL, i understand that you like the app. But since yesterday you have placed at least 16 messages/requests in this topic.
It would be nice if you could slow down a bit. This allows the developers to do their work. Stuff like themes etc are less important, the app has just been released and you are asking for new features like crazy

And please disable the signature option in your Tapatalk app, as this adds unneeded garbage in each of your posts ;)
I am not active on this forum anymore.

Re: Fibaro dimmer 2, a new bug

Post by RoadXY »

ehallq wrote:So I have multiple fibaro dimmer 2 devices. 1 of them shows up correctly, but the other two have a very short slider due to the "set level" and "level" output of data.

EDIT: Now all of the devices shows up with a short slider. First the slider is long for 0.5 sec, but then Set level: and Level: popup under the data line and the slider gets very short.
Thank you for your screenshot!
That really helped understanding.

We'll fix this.

Another bug

Post by ehallq »

Hope you don't mind me posting all this bugs I find. I really like your work, I only want to make it even better :)

When dimming my fibaro dimmer 2, I get a response of the dimming value set to +1 over the actual value (if i dim to 100%, the message says 101., 53 gets 54 etc.) If I then turn it off with the button, and then on again with the button I would want it to set to the last value or full, as for now the app shows a random percentage each time turning on and off (using the button, not the slider).

EDIT: when reopening the app after turning the fibaro dimmer 2 on with the button, the percentage shown is 255.

The button i am talking about is the button below the dimmer, not the actual physical button

No, no problem at all!
We'll see if we can replicate your issue!

Thermostat

Post by bryan241 »

I found a bug in the app for the thermostat.

Clicking the + for a thermostat will increase the temp with 1 degree.
Clicking on the - will decrease the temperature with 0.5 degrees, only the first time. After the first time the temperature gets decreased with 1 degree.
Pressing multiple times on the + does not work either.

It is probably caused by the Set Point. The Set point only shows integers.

Regards,
Bryan

btw Great app :-)

Slider is to small and i think that good option is move slider button under text LAST SEEN. Maybe in this place would be large size. Look on screen as show on my Galaxy S6:

@pepeEl, please slow down, give the guys that develop the app some time. Or better, install Android Studio pull the source from github and help them solve the bugs.

@devs, great app, keep up the good work

The width of the dimmer slider varies. I have seen them very small to a larger slider which is easier to set.

Hi,

First -> Thanks for a great app, bought premium 1st second... :)

1 problem: I don´t manage to get the cameras to work in the app. Not local connection or remote connection. How is it meant to work? Saw another question about maybe external and internal ip link?! Debug says ok. Cameratype D-link 935, Could it be the request "user:password@IP:port/cgi/jpg/image.cgi" that somehow struggling?
Cameras works great internal/external through web.

See Debug below:
Connection OK
- Result: [CameraInfo{idx=1, Name='Vardagsrum NV', Address='192.168.1.101', ImageURL='cgi/jpg/image.cgi, Port='80, Username='X, Password='X, FullURL='http://X:[email protected]:80/cgi/jpg/image.cgi, Enabled=true'}, CameraInfo{idx=2, Name='Vardagsrum OV', Address='192.168.1.100', ImageURL='cgi/jpg/image.cgi, Port='80, Username='X, Password='X, FullURL='http://X:[email protected]:80/cgi/jpg/image.cgi, Enabled=true'}]

2 question: The security alarm panel -> any thoughts about that one?

Thanks for the good work!

Sorry to give my post a kick, but other than peppeEL's posts there seems no reaction on this issue at all:
The (revers) blinds buttons can´t be paused half way. It means if you want to use this for a sunscreen one can not have the screen to be paused halfway, or therefore, at any position of the screen at all.
Now you devolpers might allready work on it, but I didn´t find it here and didn´t see it on the update...

we are taking all the issues serious. we copy them and prioritize.
all bugs must be fixed is the motto. wishes are mostly for the next version..

so thanks for reporting and keep reports coming!
and as always as extensively as possible: version number, premium/free, OS version, device info, and how to reproduce..
