Pemoticz: Control Domoticz from your Pebble

Post by KixAss »

I created a small app to control your Domoticz-system from your Pebble watch.

This is a first test-version to control scenes. In the next version it will also be possible to control switches and temperatures.

Great idea! Installed it, configured it with both ip and ip:port, but nothing is displayed on the Pebble. Smartphone can connect. Do I miss something?

Have you entered an internal or external ip-address, and did you include http:// in front and a / after?

http://192.168.1.110:8080/

Is what I entered. I do not have a user/pw protection.

Pasting The exact same in my browser shows the site.

Could you try again? First to the settings, then Save and then restart the app.

Thanks! But no luck.

Uninstalled it and reinstalled... No change.

When I switch off my wifi, app reads "Error Connecting". With wifi on, nothing appears.
I removed all items but one switch from my dashboard... No change.

Have you got any scenes in your installation?

That did the trick! Adding a test scene and now all switches are shown!

I have installed Pemoticz. I have entered my Domoticz url as:
https://192.168.0.15:443/ (I also tried without the :port)
All I get on the pebble is Error Connecting: 0

All I can think of is you are not supporting https: Am I right?

It is good to see a pebble domoticz app (even if it does not yet work for me).

Philip.

It should work. Are you using an official certificate, or a self-signed?

It is the "self signed" certificate that is installed by the Domoticz installation. It describes itself as "Issued to: Raspberry.local Issued By: Domoticz CA"

Then I think that's the problem. Other problem is that I don't have control over the certificates (which should be accepted and which shouldn't). You could try to add the certificate to your phone, maybe then it will be accepted.

Just received my Pebble Time and installed your app. Worked instantly :)
Maybe a tip: possibility to use a roomplan.
In a roomplan you can select switches, that way it could be a short list on the pebble. Now it's a list of > 50 devices wich is quite huge to browse on such a small screen.

Sorry, will use the HTTP Push app.
I need to be able to send update commands for switches that can't be switched...

Hi KixAss,

this app looks great, but doesn't support the Pebble Time Round yet. Is it much work to make an update?
