Re: ACDB-6500BC doorbell
I am using this same doorbell and for me it worked without any issues. The only difference i can see is that i have ATI,AD and Hideki enabled.
@mbliek, i am pretty sure the 6500BC is an ARC devices because it has the Letter code selector.

Re: ACDB-6500BC doorbell
I tried again by pushing the doorbell and this is what I see in the ' Not Used' Devices section. But after I added the unit by giving it a name (Doorbell) and push the doorbell again, nothing happens.

The doorbell button transmits only an ON command.
You have the reset the state to OFF before you will see the ON command change.

Thnx for the quick reply. Could you tell me how to reset to OFF state? Do I need to reset the Doorbell receiver or something else?

No need for that, it doesn't show on/off in domoticz.Heisenberg wrote:b_weijenberg wrote:The doorbell button transmits only an ON command.

Did you add the doorbell as type doorbell?
Not just only the name.

Yes, I did. But still no recognition in Domiticz when I push the button. The doorbell does ring when front door button is pushed.mbliek wrote:No need for that, it doesn't show on/off in domoticz.Heisenberg wrote:b_weijenberg wrote:The doorbell button transmits only an ON command.

Re: ACDB-6500BC doorbell
What exactly are you trying to achieve? As said before the doorbell only send an on command, so you wont actually see anything change other then a new on record in the log.

Today I sucessfully added this doorbell. It was indeed recognized by Domoticz as an ARC device. I suddenly was able to see the device after pushing doorbell button on front door. Thnx all!

In this case I would like to achieveMavy wrote:What exactly are you trying to achieve? As said before the doorbell only send an on command, so you wont actually see anything change other then a new on record in the log.
If (dark) & (doorbell is pressed (status = chime) then "switch on front door light"
after 1 minute switch off the light.
I thought if status of the doorbell would reset to "off" after 1 minute this could help me to switch the front light off.
The reset option is available with the motion sensor.
