Synology 216play

Post by nsnnsn »

Hello,
I tried to install USBserial package. Sadly enough the DS216play is not in the INFO file.
Tried to put "monaco" in as additional architecture, but the drivers can not be installed.
Now i can not uninstall the package.
Two questions:

1. How can i uninstall it ?
2. Can you compile the package for the 216play ?

best regards

Norbert

UsbSerialDrivers has not support for arch-monaco atm, maybe I will make it later.
You have to stop all software that use USB drivers before you are allowed to uninstall UsbSerialDrivers package.
If that not work, you have to manually remove the package with winscp or a similar software.
I will download the toolchain for DS216play (arch-monaco) and cross compile domoticz that include USB drivers.
Let you know when you can download a test for DS216play.

Her you can download a test for DS216play arch-monaco.

Hello,

I tried to remove the old drivers but that went wrong.
Removed the directory: /volume1/@appstore/UsbSerialDriver

Now i still can not install...

You also need to remove /var/packages/UsbSerialDrivers

You don't need UsbSerialDrivers package when you using my domoticz build.
My domoticz spk include all needed USB drivers.
You can manually remove UsbSerialDrivers with SSH.
With SSH:
From the command line you can just remove the directory 'rm -rf /var/packages/UsbSerialDrivers' and/or /volume1/@appstore/UsbSerialDrivers
After that reboot your NAS and install the latest domoticz spk for your NAS (arch-monaco)
