Hi roman1528,
put your dummy back in :D

I run mine in Windows so can't give you any specific assistance.
However, looking at your domoticz script output it looks like you are picking up your devices ok.
Have you looked at the other logs in Max!Buddy to see if you have any errors reported at all?
It may give you a starting point.

Also try deleting the objects in Domoticz, if they are received again (will be if the script is working) they will repopulate.
If they don't then you have an issue between Max!Buddy and Domoticz.

All the best

normally the domoticz script in maxbuddy should debug the values read from maxbuddy and the url wich opend to domoticz... but there is nothing... not in log not while running in console...

the hardware dummy in domoticz is in and activated! no devices created yet! cause there is no action to domoticz!!!

in maxbuddy (non headless) is all ok ... rooms, temperatures, devices... all at the right place and shown ... so headless have to get the same... devices values ...
it seems that domoticz script can't read these values... if i add a custum debug line the value is shown... so all must be fine... no error in maxbuddy or domoticz... just the script is not working ... i copied it and just changed HID PORT and IP

it worked meanwhile 4 days ago.. i had to setup all new cause of sd-card crash... the image, the installation of maxbuddy and domoticz is all the same... just the HID is a other one...

maxbuddy log:

I can not get this to work.
Installations on the Raspberry Pi seems to be ok.
But when I run ./headless.sh I get this at the bottom???
Please help.

It seams that the script is unable to find your cube. Are you sure ther is no other program connected to the cube?

No other program is connected.
Hmm, perhaps the live account connection and the android app need to be closed?
How can I know what port the cube is using?

After closing the online function I still got the same error.

Code: Select all

Why does it find 4 cubes? I only have one!

Post by vanputten80 »

Hi, I`m using Windows, Domoticz and Max. I`ve Max implemented in Domoticz via a Custom page. Works fine but I want to have one system.
I`m supprising to read that some of you have it working.

During my way to get it working I am missing the following files:

MaxEssentialsBackend-1.4.1.jar
MaxLocalBackend-1.4.1.jar
digest.txt

Please advice

Thankss

***EDIT***
Found the files in the original Max software. I`ve installed Max Buddy and followed the steps for Windows installation but it keeps saying ErrorNotFoundFile links-916.xml.

Suggestions?

Help

I have a Max! Cube and one radiator valve.
My plan is to extend use of the Max! system to all my radiators if it works.

Domoticz runs on my Pi

Initially the cube worked, was set up and everything seemed fine?

However since 19th October 2015 the Cube has refused to connect to the internet (The valve continues to work - I think?)

The eQ-3 Support Team have responded to my requests for help with nothing that has helped my problem, and always slowly!

My PC runs Windows 10 - with Norton 360 - It may be the case that Java was updated mid October.
I have configured Norton 360 to allow Java to connect to 192.168.0.222 Port 20669 (I think?)

FYI Latest log file attached

Can anyone help solve my problem

Thanks

Hi guys,

maxbuddy page is no longer available. Is there anyone who has maxbuddy windows/linux version available, could you post link to download (on some public page)?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry couldn't resist it ;)

While I'm here... I'm a little confused as to how I name my 2 RV devices. One is the actual temp. and the other is set point/open% . One I assume is RV SittingRoom but what do I name the other?

Thanks

just checked, my instructions are for Windows only.
I'll post them up as it may give you a lead.

Code: Select all

MAX! Buddy running with the new libraries yet, but the links have to download the latest libraries from the manufacturer eQ-3 and vonELV removed so that MAX! Buddy the required libraries currently can not download directly. Therefore, the error message

Errors on Startup: Failed to download required libraries.
However, it is possible to get MAX Buddy R9.16.2 and R9.17-beta2 to run:

1. Download the following files:

MaxEssentialsBackend-1.4.1.jar
MaxLocalBackend-1.4.1.jar
digest.txt

2. This must for Windows XP users to folder

C: \ Documents and Settings \ <username> \ Application Data \ MAXBuddy \ ext-libs \ u \ 57840205 \ Libs1-4-1 \
be copied.

For Windows 7 users please to folder:

C: \ Users \ <username> \ AppData \ Roaming \ MAXBuddy \ ext-libs \ u \ 57840205 \ Libs1-4-1 \
copy.

WIndows 8 users copy the files into the directory:

C: \ Users \ <username> \ AppData \ Roaming \ MAXBuddy \ ext-libs \ u \ 57840205 \ Libs1-4-1 \

3. The modified file left-916.xml

need for Windows XP users to folder

C: \ Documents and Settings \ <username> \ Application Data \ MAXBuddy \ ext-libs \

and for Windows 7 users to folder

C: \ Users \ <username> \ AppData \ Roaming \ MAXBuddy \ ext-libs \

All use the Windows 8, please to folder:

C: \ Users \ <username> \ AppData \ Roaming \ MAXBuddy \ ext-libs
copy.

Then, very important to enable the write protection on the file, otherwise the file will be overwritten.

4. MAX! Start Buddy R9.16.2 as usual.

5. Do you use MAX! Buddy R9.17 beta2 need your modified file left-914.xml use. The 1st to 4th steps remain the same.

All MAX! Buddy versions you can find here and here .

Should you have problems just report briefly here in the forum.

Greeting

Matze

Hope that helps

Kevin
I followed these instructions but when starting it keeps saying file cannot be downlaoded. Any suggestions?

-USing W8.
-Closed Max software itself

-------EDIT
Found it, you are speaking over The modified file left-916.xml . I saved that file with that name, but must be links-916.xml

Ive it working now

Hi all,

I've got it up and running so far, however the devices are not appearing in Domoticz v2.4025.

The script sends the following command:

Code: Select all

http://[user]:[pwd]@192.168.1.196:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=udevice&hid=8&did=6836312&dunit=1&dsubtype=9&dtype=80&nvalue=0&svalue=0
When I run this in a web browser, I get:

Code: Select all

{
status: "ERR"
}
What could be wrong? Isn't Domoticz accepting JSON commands without IDX anymore?
