Disable usage/power reporting

Post by Egregius »

Hi all,

I'm struggling to disable the usage and power reports of some Qubino flush relays and dimmers.

Qubino settings:

They keep flooding the logfile and the database, alltough they are not added as used devices.

Code: Select all

Re: Disable usage/power reporting

I found this in the Config XML:

Code: Select all

<Value type="short" genre="config" instance="1" index="42" label="Power reporting in Watts by time interval for Q1" min="0" max="65535" value="300">
	<Help>Set value means time interval (0 1 65535) in seconds, when power report is send. 0 - Reporting Disabled. 1 - 65535 = 1 second - 65535 seconds. Reporting enabled. Power report is send with time interval set by entered value. Default value 300 (power report in Watts is send each 300s)</Help>
</Value>
<Value type="short" genre="config" instance="1" index="43" label="Power reporting in Watts by time interval for Q2" min="0" max="65535" value="300">
	<Help> Set value means time interval (0 1 65535) in seconds, when power report is send. 0 - Reporting Disabled. 1 - 65535 = 1 second - 65535 seconds. Reporting enabled. Power report is send with time interval set by entered value. Default value 300 (power report in Watts is send each 300s)</Help>
</Value>
Looking and filtering in the logfiles I found that it is about the double relays Qubino ZMNHBA2.
They have 3 powermeters: Q1 and Q2 for the outputs, and a general combined one.
The settings only allows to set the time for Q1 and Q2, the general one stays at the default 300 seconds.

What should be added to the XML to enable this setting?

I notice real latency because of this. Especially when someone enters the hall. Then 2 Qubino's are switched and they both send about 10 power reports for starting the bulb.
If you enter in that moment another room with motion sensor it takes sometimes up to 20 seconds to switch the light on.

I basically don't want any power reports at all from these switches. It are already power saving bulbs or LED so the power consumption doesn't bother me at all.

Another topic on the forum made me think...
I stopped domoticz and openen de Config/zwcfg_xxx.xml file.
I removed all the COMMAND_CLASS_METER I don't use.

At the moment, no power reports, no usage reports and no creation of unused devices.

But something that is harder to check: will this effectivily remove this functionallity from the switch? By that I mean will the reports no longer be sent, or no longer acknowledged by Domoticz?

I am having the same problem with the Qubino ZMNCHD flush shutter modules. I do not use the power reporting devices, however my log file is flooded with these messages every minute. Is there any alternative way to disable this log messages, or should i use what @Egregius is done?
