bob: receive will not be made available for several reasons.
One is that Somfy operates on a different frequency as 433.92MHz. We are not allowed to use the Somfy sensor protocol. Use sensors from a different brand.

Hello,
I tested the venetian blinds (EU) and it works well. Thanks!
Is there a plan to add the angle control buttons in addition to the up/down/stop buttons?

Also it would be really helpful to be able to use the STOP button in scripts. The STOP button is also uses the set the blinds to a memorized position (half opened for example). This is often uses in presence simulation.
This would really be a great addition...

Thanks in advance for the great work.

Olivier.

Currently, it seems we cannot use the number 0. If what you say is true, it could be interesting...

Successfully added my somfy blind in Domoticz, so now I have a blinds button with the up down and stop icons.

How do I add a Kaku switch to this so I can control the blinds with the wireless kaku on/off button? I tried adding them as sub slave in the edit function of the blinds but nothing happens...

Thanks guys!

Hi people, I'm kind of noob in domotic, but everyone has to start somehow. ;)

So, I have electric blinds in my house, I don't know the brand of the motors, just can say that my blinds are remote controlled, and use this wireless receiver that works on 433.92MHz:

Its like this one:

Can I use RFXtrx433E USB 433.92MHz Transceiver to connect to my blinds?

Hope you can help me! Thanks. (Y)

This is not a Somfy.
Try with RFXmngr Blinds1 - BlindsT6 if the motor can be controlled. If not your motor is not supported.

As stated here http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3682 I cannot make work Blockly event for Somfy: I do not find the OPEN and CLOSE command! (but I found the STOP command)
Is there someone that succeed to do it?

Somfy is not received by the RFXtrx433E so you can't connect a remote.

The Somfy RTS remotes have never been received by the RFXtrx.
Create the RFY device manually and use the same ID and unit number as before.

If you have forgotten the ID's you can find the programmed RFY remotes in the RFXtrx433E using RFXmngr using the list remotes command on the RFY tab.

Clear all remotes in the RFXtrx433E,
Create RFY Somfy devices in Domoticz again with new random ID/unit nbr, (make a note of the ID and unit number in case you lost the settings again)
Pair the Somfy motors again.

Hello, I'm new here and since last week I'm running Domoticz on my synology DS409+.
My main reason is to schedule my somfy blinds, for the moment I can control them using this 4channel remote but I want to schedule them, or let them act based on other triggers.
For security reasons Domoticz' learn function does not work so you have to program it?
So I connected the USB to my pc and started reading this tutorial.
Some questions:
1. when i take the remote and press the learn button on the back, is this per selected blind. Or do I have to unpower the others when putting them in learn mode
2. Is there a way to retrieve the current channel? how to do this in rfx mgr?
3. What happens when I generate a random address and learn it to the (selected) blind, will my 4channel remote still work?

It feels strange I need to program the blinds again with an new random id? I want to keep my existing remote working..

Thanks for your feedback!

The RFXtrx433E can be seen as a remote. Yes you select a random ID and unit number for each RFXtrx433E "remote".
Use the Somfy user guides how to add a remote and your Somfy remote can still be used after you have added the RFXtrx433E "remote"

You can also use RFXmngr to program the motors. make a note which ID - Unit code is used for the motor. Afterwards you can manually add the Somfy motors to Domoticz using the assigned ID -unit codes.
You can configure up to 40 "remotes" in the RFXtrx433E

Hi, my somfy screen and sunscreen are working in domoticz. Only problem is that i can't set à percentage, no matter what kind of blinds setting I use, even percentage blinds. My sunscreen can reach 3 meters almost, and that's to far wher I set the screen on automatic. When I set the screen on automatic with the original remote, it's working, but without domoticz.... Does anybody know how to use percentage? Thanks.
