Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
This error occurs when pairing the Silvercrest TS011 adapter in zigbee2MQTT.
Domoticz displays the voltage and current, but not the power.
Does anyone know what to do about this?

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
So the log is from zigbee2mqtt or from Domoticz? Seems to be from zigbee2mqtt, then you better check there... https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt/discussions

It's a error placed in the domoticz log.

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
And how did you integrate Zigbee2MQTT into Domoticz? With the old python plugin or with the MQTT AD hardware gateway? https://wiki.domoticz.com/Zigbee2MQTT#M ... toDiscover

I installed the plugin with
git clone https://github.com/stas-demydiuk/domoti ... plugin.git zigbee2mqtt

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
Are you on the latest version of that plugin? As this old issue there has the same kind of errors: https://github.com/stas-demydiuk/domoti ... issues/547 The plugin has not been updated for 2 years as there is a new build in integration that does not need extra python install.
Else it would be good to migrate to the MQTT AD integration as indicated by the wiki. See the wiki link I mentioned before.

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
OK, i'v disabled the "MQTT2zigbee plugin" and added hardware "MQTT Autodiscover".
The zigbee-devices are shown in "zigbee2mqtt WindFrom (frontend)" and I can see information of the wallsocket (power, current and voltage). I can even swith on and off in WindForm".
The can even receive that information from MQTT by listing with""mosquitto_sub -d -t "zigbee2mqtt/#" :
.Client (null) received PUBLISH (d0, q0, r0, m0, 'zigbee2mqtt/bridge/logging', ... (226 bytes))
{"level":"info","message":"z2m:mqtt: MQTT publish: topic 'zigbee2mqtt/0x70b3d52b6014bf15', payload '{\"current\":0,\"energy\":0,\"linkquality\":55,\"power\":0,\"power_outage_memory\":\"on\",\"state\":\"ON\",\"voltage\":227}'"}
In domoticz/settings: receive new devices is on"!
But, unfortunately, nothing happens in domotics.
What am i doing wrong....?

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
The discovery topic normally is "homeassistant". So check the settings of zigbee2mqtt if you changed that...
And better not have the config and state topics combined in the same topic, so keep it "homeassistant"

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
Ok, I changed the topic to homeassistant at the frontend end in the Domoticz "MQTT autodiscover" hardware.
I see with "mosquitto_sub -d -t "zhomeassistant/#" next information coming from the wall-socket when I switch it on (button om the wall-socket).
Client (null) received PUBLISH (d0, q0, r0, m0, 'homeassistant/bridge/logging', ... (229 bytes))
{"level":"info","message":"z2m:mqtt: MQTT publish: topic 'homeassistant/0x70b3d52b6014bf15', payload '{\"current\":0,\"energy\":0,\"linkquality\":70,\"power\":0,\"power_outage_memory\":\"on\",\"state\":\"OFF\",\"voltage\":225}'"}
Client (null) received PUBLISH (d0, q0, r0, m0, 'homeassistant/0x70b3d52b6014bf15', ... (106 bytes))
{"current":0,"energy":0,"linkquality":70,"power":0,"power_outage_memory":"on","state":"OFF","voltage":225}
This means that the frontend send a "home-assistant" topic message. But unfortunately stil noting is happening in Domoticz.
Even rejoining the wall-socket in the frontend-webpage, does not have any result in domoticz....

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
The frontend (or better backend) of Zigbee2mqtt should send config Discovery topics to "homeassistant" and the state topics with the sensor/switch values to the base topic "zigbee2mqtt"".
Check the wiki https://wiki.domoticz.com/Zigbee2MQTT#I ... igbee2MQTT

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
Ok, thanks,
Now the devices appears as domoticz devices. But...
1/ I can't control the wall-sockets and. The front-end website allow that.
2/ one socket has power-, voltage- and current sensors. That information is not shown. The front-end-website does.

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
There my knowledge of zigbee2mqtt lacks as I do not use it. Seems something is still not correct in the configuration. Check the Domoticz log when you want to switch the device. It could give some clues ..

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
First, the status_topic is by default homeassistant/status
In the MQTT settings, make sure the base_topic is zigbee2mqtt
keep everything default nothing is checked here
shutdown zigbee2mqtt
shutdown domoticz
Use MQTT Explorer, and delete remaining nodes (homeassistant/status/base topic)... delete all?
start zigbee2mqtt
make sure it is running correct
next start domoticz
Switches you should see immediately, other sensors (like temp/hum/voltage/kwh/....) only when a update is received

Yeah....,
After startup de rpi, the zigbee devices are shown in domoticz
with the ajustments as shown in the print-screens above.
However, I noticed that the wall-socket icons are a light bulb symbol instead of a wall socket symbol.
Is that OK?

Re: Log-item: can not process numeric item "energy"
Domoticz is not aware it is a wall socket, it sees it as a default switch. So you have to change the icon in Domoticz (use the edit button on the widget in Domoticz) https://wiki.domoticz.com/Managing_Devices#Change_Icon
