Hello !
I have update my domoticz to the last version (running on RPI4 with buster)
Of course, many issues, like Openssl 3, etc ...
So I decide to build quickly a new Domoticz (new RPI5 with last OS, new domoticz install), and restore the domoticz.db previously backuped before the failed update (ouf !)
Domoticz is online, RFX is working, all my devices there. But no update from the Xiaomi gateway. The IP of the gateway still the same, also the password entered again, and no Xiaomi devices appears / no update on current Xiaomi devices ...
The 9898 still opened
Any ideas why ?
Thanks !

Re: Xiaomi Gateway : no device detected since new install
Me too!
My old Raspberry Pi that has been rock steady for years can't update to 2025.2 due to SSL v3. I decided to do a full rebuild using "Raspberry Pi OS (Legacy) Lite 32-bit". Domoticz was installed and ran OK until I restored my database. Domoticz would run for 20 seconds and then crash. I disabled all the hardware in the DB and one by one added them back, Pi system, RFXcom, 1wire, all OK until I added the Xiaomi gateway.

Finally, the solution was to add a new device (the same!), and remove the old one.
Then, replace all devices one by one to keep the history
Weerd !

Re: Xiaomi Gateway : no device detected since new install
My issue turned out to be a different problem but I want to share the resolution in case anyone else sees this. In my haste to get going I hadn't configured my Raspberry Pi's IP address properly, I had set the fixed IP with
but I didn't set "ipv4.gateway", "ipv4.dns", "ipv4.method manual" and I guess this was crashing the Xiaomi gateway plugin when it tried to talk to the gateway over the network. Once I had set these the gateway was OK. One of my sensors was lost but restored by adding it via the "Xiaomi Home" app on my phone.
Code: Select all
sudo nmcli c mod "Wired connection 1" ipv4.addresses 192.168.1.100/24Who is online
