Re: New Philipe hue bridge Pro support
This error you should not get when registering the user on the bridge but when it tries to poll the status
In the hardware setup page, disable the hardware
Next, empty the username, set the bridge in LINK mode, next press on 'Register on Bridge' in the hardware page
You should now get a username.
Next make sure the 'enabled' checkbox is set to enabled, press the 'Update' and it should work.
Did you switch from an old bridge to the new one? Then disable the old hardware, and start with a fresh hardware

Re: New Philips hue bridge Pro support
Hello,
I did a fresh install, with the Bridge Pro, same message.
It works with the old Hue.
There's probably a change in the Hue Pro API because I tested it with Home Assistant, and a new version was released with a fix for the Hue Pro. (https://community.home-assistant.io/t/u ... pro/927325)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second test: I generated a token using this procedure: https://developers.meethue.com/develop/get-started-2/
Copy the token into my new Domoticz instance, and all the lights are displayed.
The states are also displayed, on/off, etc. However, any action in Domoticz doesn't work with Error: Hue Bridge Pro: Error received: invalid/missing parameters in body

Re: New Philips hue bridge Pro support
Hi all,
I have the same problem.
I've tried both setups... none are working.
indeed by using the api method and getting a userkey that way.. it does find all the devices, But Domoticz cannot instruct them.
Also tried gizmocuz method.. not working still "/get error" error message.
Strange thing is that the log reports all HUE things when you manually press a dimmer switch.
When I click a lamp button, it does show that the lamp is on, but the lamp itself stays off. Furthermore, the lamp gets an off status within 5 secs in Domoticz.

Re: New Philips hue bridge Pro support
Feedback:
On the Pro bridge, the HTTP connection no longer works, only HTTPS.
I created Build Domoticz from source, modified the file hardware/PhilipsHue/PhilipsHue.cpp.
Changed all HTTP connections to HTTPS.
Added the hardware for the Pro and set port 443 instead of 80.
Registered on bridge, Token
All devices, groups, and scenes
Actions (On/Off)
I created another hardware with the V2 and everything works too.
The developer will need to modify this file for the next build.

Please create a PR for this or at least a github issue. There should be an option now to use http or httpsBidibulle wrote: Friday 19 September 2025 19:29 Feedback:

Re: New Philips hue bridge Pro support
I just bought one of these new bridges. Looks like I'll finally need to update Domoticz. I'm still on 2022.1 build 14394. I'm pretty wary of doing this because in past updates it always caused a lot of work because things wouldn't work anymore due to compatibility of all sorts of things like python versions etc.

Re: New Philips hue bridge Pro support
Use docker if you are worried about that. For latest beta with the hue Pro support you have to be on a recent OS as it needs libssl3. See viewtopic.php?t=43485
