S0 Meter with LAN interface

Post by andreo »

Hi,

Does anyone know which serial settings are required for the S0 Meter with LAN interface? I am currently using a S0PCM-5 module via SER2NET but am receiving invalid data, the interface is set to 9600N81, I have also applied 9600E71, but without success.

Thank you in advance for your help

You have to look in the documentation of your S0 meter device as that is talking serial with ser2net.

the settings of the serial port are as follows according to the specification: 9600 baud rate, Even parity, 7 Data bits, 1 Stop bit.
I used these settings in ser2net and if I log in with Putty to the IP address and the correct port, the following data appears

ID:32206:I:10:M1:0:0:M2:0:0:M3:0:0:M4:0:0:M5:0:0
ID:32206:I:10:M1:0:0:M2:0:0:M3:0:0:M4:0:0:M5:0:0

For the first time Domoticz shows a connection

2024-01-04 01:12:47.843 Status: S0 pulsteller: connected to: 192.168.178.48:2000

However, after setting the mode of the pulse counter, an error occurs

What do you mean with setting the mode of the pulse counter? Your setup seems correct, you are receiving the pulse telegrams.

Under the setup/hardware tab, select the pulse meter. There is a button here where you can adjust the settings of the individual inputs. After pressing the Set Mode button, the error message appears.

Do you have something connected to the S0meter that is giving pulses? As that is needed to have the domoticz devices created. See the wiki https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/S0Meter

@waltervl thanks for the hint. After applying pulses to the various inputs, I suddenly see the values coming in, I will continue testing whether everything works now.
