Neo Coolcam Motion Sensor associations

Post by rrozema »

Anyone who got neo coolcam's motion sensor to operate a switch through association? If so, can you please advise how to set it up?

I'm trying to control one switch of a FIBARO System FGS223 Double Relay+ from the motion sensor. I've tried all sorts of combinations in the 'Groepen en Netwerk' (groups and networks) dialog to no avail. The only thing I accomplished was the switch turning on and off continuously when I associated the motion sensor to the switch's life line group. Otherwise no single combination gave any response from the switch to the sensor turning on and off (the red light does flash).

This works for me:

Just add the switch you want to associate to group 2 from the motion sensor. In the example this is node number 11. Then the switch will remain on for the on/off duration (Parameter 2) from the motion sensor. In my case this parameter is set to 300 seconds. So the switch stays on for 300 seconds when motion has been detected.

This works fine for the first Q1 switch. But how can a associate the second (Q2) of the Fibaro FGS223.

A read about adding 11.2 (in stead of 11) but this does not seem to work.

Is it possible to show a picture with the settings of the sensor?
