That should bring you right to your inbox.

Thanks. Found it. I always pressed the message, which brought me to the Domiticz app itself. The inbox was "hidden" under the small arrow/V.
But that resulted in a next request(sorry..) Is it possible to have a button directly in the inbox view that you arrive in, to remove all messages and a left/right swipe on individual messages?

Kind regards,

Bert

Hi,

I have the paid version of the Domoticz App for Android version 0.2.302 (8479) running on my mobile.
When I try to connect the app via VPN (WireGuard) to my domoticz I cannot conect. I have to use a webbrowser to connect to Domoticz.

How can I connect the Domoticz app via VPN?

Nobody is using the app and a VPN connection to reach Domoticz outside your local network?

I just tested it and it works for me. I also have the paid version and tested it through Bitdefender VPN on my Android (Galaxy S10+) phone.

Did you set any special settings with the app or within Domoticz? My Domoticz is running on a Raspberry Pi 3B+

No, nothing special. Just the standard settings. I run Domoticz on a Ubuntu PC. I don't normally use a VPN for it, just tried it because of your question and it worked fine.

I have a google free AOSP phone. Domoticz Lite works well, how can I get Domoticz Premium? I don't have the Google Play store, at least not the one I can make purchases with.

Suggestion for the app, geofence. I'm living in an border area where the network is not always perfect and sometimes it's between. But at the moment I'm outside my area the app reports I'm leaving and switches of the switch I setup for it but is unable to sync with Domoticz at home due to the network. After a while if I do check the system trough the app I find out that the switch is still on.
Is it possible that the app has an option to check with an variable interval to see if it's outside the geofence and still synchronises the switch?

@galadril,

There is a new device defined in the current Beta for Roller/Shutter that includes a Stop button:

This are the database field details:

These are the 2 types added in Domoticz:

Code: Select all

	STYPE_BlindsPercentageWithStop,	//21
	STYPE_BlindsPercentageInvertedWithStop,	//22
Could you have a look at adding support for that as this would be pretty convenient to be able to stop a roller/shutter at any time we like. 8-)

Cheers,
Jos

Hi,

I just updated to the beta version in order to get the new EnOcean goodness and it works fine, but the blinds set to "blinds + stop" don't even show up in the (paid) Android app.

It would be great if the new blinds widget would be added (with the percentage and stop button), or at least if it could show up like regular blinds with "open" and "close" buttons.

Cheers,
Gael

New beta is rolling out with lots of important changes:

Code: Select all

- Added support for new blinds
- Support for Android 12
- Added HTTP Symbol support for selector values
- New icons
- Move logs/events/uservariables screen to advanced under settings
- Lots of UX changes
- Improvements for tablet screens
- Added rooms as chips on Dashboard screen
- Refresh translations
And also important:
- Added subscriptions instead of paid app

The premium app still stays to exist, but not receiving any more updates.
You can move to the latest Domoticz via the import/export settings.

Hi, where can I submit a bug report?

The latest version seems to have removed the "User Variables" section from the app, which I use daily to set different values and tolerances for electricity prices, target temperatures etc
