Re: Setting up a Domoticz Remote-Server Howto
Question...
When everything is setup as described, and nothing is transfered (no errors either)
What is then the next step? Can you 'force' anything?
On the master: (192.168.2.222)
2020-11-26 22:19:59.052 Status: Domoticz Remote: connected to: 192.168.2.230:6144
In the Log of the remote/slave: (192.168.2.230)
2020-11-26 22:23:42.635 Status: Incoming Domoticz connection from: 192.168.2.222
Devices have been shared with the client (I shared 50% just to test), but nothing happens and nothing is logged

I found Item 15 on that list is a little unclear.
You may have done this already, but on the Remote unit:
Settings->More Options->Edit Users
Top RHS blue button Set Devices
.

Re: Setting up a Domoticz Remote-Server Howto
Yeah, I did that.
Only added 50% of the devices, just to check/manage the process.
but non of them gets 'pushed'.
No errors no nothing...
Both Remote and server pick up devices on their own, but nothing is transferred.
I also setup a new server on another RPi but no difference.
Restarting the service also did not help (on both systems)
I only see the connection established, after that nothing...

Re: Setting up a Domoticz Remote-Server Howto
you could think of using mqtt to sync the servers
this thread has an interesting way of using mqtt to sync a backup server, that can be used as a starting point.
