Mitsubishi/Panasonic airco

Post by Dave47 »

Is it possible to add a Mitsubishi or Panasonic air conditioner to hardware.
We do see the possibility for a Daikin

Or is there another method to build this in Domoticz?

Hi,

You wrote:

Someone has to write a plug-in and that is not a quick job. So that will take at least some time.
Or is there another method to build this in Domoticz?
I don't know, whether the Panasonic AC and the Mitsubishi AC have the same API or Cloud service.

A few month ago, I have been working to integrate a Panasonic AC Cloud service into Domoticz.

See: https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... =Panasonic

Unfortunately this project has never been finished as the user stopped responding. Do not know why.
If this is something you want to try, I will be happy to support you and to continue this project.

I have integrated my Panasonic in Domoticz using the thread FireWizard referring to as inspiration.

For Mitsubishi, you may use Wemos D1 with https://github.com/SwiCago/HeatPump on you heat pumps and https://github.com/Masurov/Domoticz-Mit ... QTT-Plugin on Domoticz size. List of confirmed working hardware can be found at https://github.com/SwiCago/HeatPump/issues/13

You may use it for lot os Mitsubishi AC and heat pumps. Personally, I use them for 4 different AC models.

Full list is at https://github.com/SwiCago/HeatPump/issues/13
