I don't know if it is normal, then put the question here i thoughed.

I have a osram switch, which is a remote with 3 buttons.
My zigbee network has the coördinator and 1 router.
The remote is in between and when i look in the zigbee connection plan i can seen the remote is connected to both. When in push the remote button, than i get 2 commands in domoticz (seen in log). When i unplug the router and push the button, then i get 1 command.

Is it normal that all receiving components are giving the command to domoticz?

I had a script that with 1 push it does something and with 2 pushes it does something else. This isn't going to work by the multi commands on 1 push

Any suggestions ?

i have exactly the same problem. i paired a Gledopto GL-B-001Z E14 RGB light bulb which is perfectly recognized by zigbee2mqtt but i don't get Domoticz to make a new device for it. Have tried practically everything. Checked the box "Accept new hardware devices" AND also clicked on the "Allow for 5 minutes" button. I restarted domoticz, restarted NPM, enabled and disable the zigbee2mqtt plugin in domoticz hardware, all to no prevail.

anyone any ideas left?

thanks!

I haven't looked for it, but is that device support by domoticz?
It could be that the zigbee2mqtt supports it, but domoticz also have to support it, to get it working

where can i check that it is supported by domoticz or not?

hmm, i do see here that it is supposed to be updated in the plugin. now find a way to update the plugin. never did that actually

@fabstar81

The Domomitcz WIKI (Zigbee2MQTT) refers to https://github.com/stas-demydiuk/domoti ... qtt-plugin. There it is indicated how the update should be performed.

Does anyone have roller blinds working? Or maybe horizontal jealousies too?

I see a hack with Somfy io

And:
https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/li ... 6#63825436

and then a python script, only the forum is not alive.

Are there any other brands or options for blinds and blinds?

The error eens to indicate that Z2M cannot open your zigbee usb stick. Have you checked your config as well as what port your stick is on (unplug and plug back in, run dmesg)? Sometimes there are conflicts with other usb services (there is another thread on that). Have you looked at the syslog?
Based on just this error, it's difficult to say where the exact problem is.

there was not so much support but what I want you to know is that after a fresh install of Buster evrything is working allright.
Hope I have helped somebody with the same problems.
Also hope that more people give help on this forum to make Domoticz even better as it is!!!
One thing to reach this goal is to give help when asked

Smiggel wrote: Saturday 09 February 2019 20:06 Hi guys,

I have a CC2531 USB stick running using the https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt guide. I have also installed the Domoticz plugin (https://github.com/stas-demydiuk/domoti ... qtt-plugin) installed. I have a total of 2 Xaomi doorsensor connected and 5 Xiaomi temp/hum/bar sensors connected. They all work just fine after having paired them.

However, I notice sometimes one of the temp/hum/bar sensors suddenly stops with updating. I have no errors in my logs and the other sensors continue without problems. It's also not always the same sensor. One time it was the sensor on the attic and then it suddenly it's the sensor in the bedroom. It's not just for one hour, but for over 12 hours or so. When I push the rest button of the sensor, it starts to work again. I did not have this issue with the Xaomi hub (v2) installed.

Can someone tell me what could be causing this problem? Does anyone else experience these kind of issues?
Hello Smiggel,

I have exactly the same issue.
Did you manage to solve the problem with Sensor and CC2531 Stick.

If yes - I will be glad to know the solution :)

The answer was adding the following line to [your directory]/domoticz/plugins/zigbee2mqtt/adapters__init__.py

Code: Select all

    #ECO.DIM (S10)
    'Dimmer-Switch-ZB3.0': DimmableBulbAdapter # ECO.DIM dimmer
For anyone struggling with this, a simple explanation.

The file adapters__init__.py defines how to interpret the devices. In my case, the dimmer wasnt recognised and so i had to define how the plugin should see the new device.

Steps:
1. Search for the model (not modelid) of the new device in the zigbee2mqtt log file. In my case 'Dimmer-Switch-ZB3.0'.
2. Define the type of device it should act as. In my case 'DimmableBulbAdapter'
3. Restart domoticz.
4. The plugin should now see the new devices.
I registered to this forum just to thank you for this post!
I recently bought the same dimmer, and couldn't get the dimming part to work.. after making some changes to __init__.py I finally have it working.
I also have the EcoDim.07 (which today is sold as 07.Pro (there's a 07.Basic also)), mine showed as model "Eco-Dim.07".
A former colleague of mine is thinking of ordering the Basic version, curious to see if that one works as well also
