Zigate settings

Post by tjabas »

Hi!

i have been adding alot of zigbee devices to my zigate on my rpi3, i have about 30 devices, mostly Aqara sensors and some Ikea trådfri switches and repeaters, but now i am getting some problems, some of the paired devices suddenly disapears after i make a reboot of the rpi, its both the Aqara and Trådfri that disapears, it seems like its the once the are further away from the Zigate, i have to include them again after a reboot.
any suggestion of why it behaves like that?

im using channel 15 on the zigate, should i acitvate polling?
and should i activate OTA in Zigate plugin? does the latest firmware always get installed without any problems?

thanks in advance

Please check the wiki , you should find info there.

As regards to your channel for zigbee you need to see what is WiFi 2.4 channel to avoid overlap

Hi,

Since you're using Zigate on channel 15, it should be better to set your Wifi 2.4Ghz on channel 11 to avoid signal interferences.
You can check the signal overlapping here : https://github.com/pipiche38/Domoticz-Z ... -Zigbee.md

Regarding the Zigate plugin settings, there are :
- Settings available through Domoticz under Settings > Hardware > Your Zigate ID with few parameters but available whatever your version of DZ/Plugin,
- Many more settings available through the Plugin Web Admin Interface as described here : https://github.com/pipiche38/Domoticz-Z ... -Zigbee.md

Regarding that last option (Web Admin Interface), you can have more info here : https://github.com/pipiche38/Domoticz-Z ... terface.md
=> Domoticz mini 4.10900
=> Zigate Plugin mini 4.4

Hope that helps ;)
