Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
How did you do that?
Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
So, beginners question, how does this work?
New hardware only asks for address and port. No new devices were added. Now what? Where to login?

Have you checked "accept new hardware devices" in settings?

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
Today I noticed that my HABridge system was not able to use my Logitech Harmony hub anymore. Then I saw Domoticz also was not able to communicate. The syslog says:
etc...
At that time, I am very sure I was sleeping and not editing firewalls or anything . Of course I switch off the Harmony hub and switched it back on. No luck.
Anyone else noticed this recently??
Code: Select all

Hi Duan, do you remember how you solved this issue years ago?Duan wrote: ↑Thursday 29 December 2016 21:00 Hi All,
When I try to add my Harmony just like in the wiki, I don't see any fields to add a username and password.
I had this problem on the stable version 3.5837, but also on the latest beta version.
Does anyone else experience the same problem?
Kind regards,
Duan
I'm having the same problem now

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
UPDATE: father_mande compiled a new version 2020.2.1 of Domoticz and with this I could get my Harmony Hub finally working again! I did enable XMPP the other day, but with the old version it didn't work. With version 2020.2 it works.

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
Hello,
I had a Harmony Hub working for some time, but I had to change my Harmony.com password.
Since then the connection from Domoticz to the Hub fails.
I'm trying to find where I can enter the new password in Domoticz. However in the Domoticz Harmony hardware settings, I only have Address and Port. I have no Username and Password fields...
Am'I missing something?
Thanks,
Olivier

Posting reply for others after getting confirmation that accessing the Harmony Hub does NOT require Username/Password anymore.
Ensure you have the latest firmware and XMPP is enabled (can be checked in the Harmony Remote Settings Menu).

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
Hi,
Recently I've bought a Harmony Ultimate with Hub to use with Domoticz, but I can't establish any kind of connection. I've got XMPP enabled in the Harmony app, and added the Hub in Domoticz with it's IP address and port 5222. However, when I ping the hub all ports remain closed - and I suppose there should be at least one open port to establish a proper XMPP connection. Reboot of the hub didn't help at all.
The versions are:
- Domoticz 2020.2
- Harmony Hub 4.15.280
- Harmony App 5.7.6
Are there more people around that encountered this issue, and what could be a proper way to fix it?
Gerald
###UPDATE###
Problem solved: Domoticz used a cable connection to the modem, while the Harmony hub connected to the separate wireless router - they couldn't detect each other. I've moved the wireless router near my Raspberry Pi with Domoticz, and put the cable straight into the router instead of the modem; now both the hub and domoticz are sharing the exact same network.

After a complete reinstall of Raspberry & Domoticz it works now.martinvandenhurk wrote: ↑Wednesday 27 May 2020 20:20Hi Duan, do you remember how you solved this issue years ago?Duan wrote: ↑Thursday 29 December 2016 21:00 Hi All,
