Bind Xiaomi gateway Topic is solved

Hello,
I was using my xiaomi gateway on my old domoticz system, and because of a problem on the raspberry, I had to reinstall it again in a new device.
When I tried to bind again the xiaomi gateway (without any update on the gateway) to the new system, it asks me for an user and password, in the password field I wrote the password of LAN mode of the gateway, but I´m not sure what to write on user field. At first time I leave user blank and tryied to get the devices but any device was retrieved, and in the log I see this:

And it stops searching. Anyone can help me?

Did you try blank on both options? If you really forgot the cridentials i'm quite sure you have to factory reset the gateway.

but I think that the password is the one on LAN mode, not the one of mine account. Also in the previous domoticz system where I got it working, there was only password field, and in this new system it asks me about user and password

I have the same problem. im on the latest beta and i have to fill in a username....

I just bought the gateway and some sensors, hoping to have some fun with my domoticz... not...

does anyone know how to solve this?

It is only a password field in last stable version. And I left it empty.

What message do you see on the screen or in the log if you leave the field blank?
I tried this on my system V4.11563 and when I leave the user field blank and provide the right password the Xiaomi gateway hardware is added into domoticz.

this is my log without username and without password. (the IP is the IP of domoticz. the IP of xiaomi gateway is 192.168.1.51

i did a stable install on another Pi for testing V4.10717. the good news is; there in no user - option, the bad news is, same problem. it seems that i cant connect to the gateway. i dont see the gateway in my devices list.

Did you enable the accept new hardware switch on the [SETUP] [SETTINGS] [SYSTEM] page ?

because my test domoticz even didnt get connected, i looked further, so i get it done by some hardware mod

Thank you for helping me. It's solved. i had a new gateway witch cant open the 9898 port without the hardware mod.
