Hi all - native selector switch support is now available, and should be in all languages.

"Hey Google, set <selectorswitch> mode to <level>"

Enjoy!

I don't succeed to get it working in French.

I tried a lot of different voice commands to Google assistant but he only understands On/Off which has no effect to the vacuum.
Also, in Google home app, my vacuum is seen as a "simple switch". When a switch selector is successfully added to the app, is there a different status available than a simple switch?

hi -
Can you send a support note from your Controlicz profile, and i'll take a look.

In terms of the switch icon, there's no selector icon, and currently no touch controls available at the moment. As soon as that changes, i'll implement it

Have been busy setting up EQ3 max thermostats in domoticz and google home. The hardware plugin creates many devices for each radiator valve (thermostat, temperature, valve percentage and selector switch). I added all of them to a roomplan (so in Domoticz I would see them when selecting the room), but only the thermostat was assigned to the controlicz user. I did this so in order not to confuse google home with too many devices.
However, also the 3 devices which were not assigned to the controlicz user were still shown as "in a roomplan" on the controlicz site. This surprised me.

I removed them from the floorplan to solve the issue but did I miss something?

Now I have a strange problem with Domoticz. After adding the new device to the room it is there. I go to other screens of domoticz and return: still there.
now I reboot (using option in domoticz) and after reboot the device is no longer in the specified room. Will investigate further...

update: after manually stopping domoticz before rebooting it seems to keep the new device.

the issue with Controlicz is still present: the device is in a room plan but not assigned to user "controlicz" and still being shown in controlicz as being in a roomplan

omg: the main user name / password was set to controlicz as well, exposing all devices. Sorry for the confusion.

Since one week or so I have controlicz now working with Alexa ..or better working from time to time.
Every other day, Alex does not react or says the devices are not reachable. When I look into controlicz, my devices are visible and the connection is ok. so everything works from there. Then I make a redicover of all devices (in floorplans of course) and ...nothing happens.
So overall, there is no reliably solution available right now. HA bridge worked for me for over 2 or 3 years and suddenly stopped and commands are not fulfilled anymore. I switched to Controlizs. It worked for 2 days...suddenly also stopped...what else?

Been using Controlicz successfully with Google Home/assistant for around half a year. Dont remember exactly, but since a couple of months ago without any changes from me something annoying began.
I have several rooms where there are 3-4 lights defined. In Google home they are grouped together in their respective room.
Before this worked like a charm, I could say "Turn of/on Dining Room" and all lights in that room turned off/on, where GH just replied the action with name of the respective room. Now GH replies with "OK, turning the Dining Room 1 (which is one of the lights in the same room), Sorry cant reach two lights right now, please try again later". But the light are being turned off. And when I say "Turn on Dining Room" GH replies with "Turning on Dining Room 2 (which is one of the lights in that room), Sorry cant reach two light right now, please try again later"..

So everyting works, GH does what I say, but it is really annoying that GH gives this lengthy error each time turning off/on the different rooms.
I have tried changing the names being announced from Domoticz to Controllicz, I have unpaired Controllicz from Google Home, but no change.

Someone been having the same issue? Is it something I can adjust from my side?

Thanks

Hi madgeni,

Happily using controlicz for 2 years now.
I was wondering whether a 2 way voicecontrol is possible?
E.g. A voice/audio message to Google home when a doorbell is pushed

Hi - it does the same for me, am investigating. It's not directly related to Controlicz, but there's clearly a behaviour issue. For example, two switches in my front room respond as expected, however two lights in my hall have the same behaviour as you (both work, only one reports - despite both providing a response).
Will look into it.

I'll join the crew experiencing this... I find it's never one light in particular. It quite often can be random as to which lights won't respond properly

It seems to only be lights, not switches. I'm working with Google on it this evening

great to hear you still have a good relationship with google. Also encountering the same issues with lights.
No issue for me paying for software development and support like this.
