Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Same here after the update to version 3.0.0, the app crashes when starting up. iPhone6s IOS 12.3. Get a fast glimp of the home screen and then crashes. Removed and reinstalled the application, rebooted iPhone and logged out/in appstore, no succes. It seems related with the connection to Domoticz, Version:https://prnt.sc/nsfs6s. Same issue with previous stable version.
When I kill the 4G and Wifi it starts without a problem, or shutdown domoticz the app works (or starts without crashing)

That I know. The rest, not so sure yet. I am still trying to find a way to reproduce that bloody bug.
I'll get there tho

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Hi all.
First of all: Great app! I like the design. Thanks a lot for your efforts.
Have some questions still.
I am using the latest stable domoticz version on a synology. All works and Pilot App finds my domoticz but gets no automatic updates of events. E.g. like when a motion is detected or a switch change state.
Is that normal?
Would it be possible to rename devices in the app? I use longer names within domoticz to easily see which device I am using in scripts but on phone screens those names are too long. Would be great to rename them just locally in the app. That maybe possible with the paid version?
Changing colors and the sorting of the home screen would be great as well. Possible?
When a switch changed status in the app (after I manually reload) I just see it in the switch symbol with the word ‘on’. Possible that this switch icon changes background color or icon when state changed? (Same is for morion detectors).
Thanks a lot.

When changing tempratures on the slider the app defaults to Farenheit.
Is this a setting somewhere? I'd like to use Celsius notation.

Pilot 3.0.1 is available on the App Store.
Update will be automatic if you're willing to wait.
If you're not willing to wait, simply go to the updates tab in the App Store, and grab the update.
More than 50 bug fixes, just give it a try and let me know how it goes.

You have to restore the purchase after reinstalling.

That's amazing news!!! Glad I got this bug fixed, it wasn't the easiest to.

@patoo77, have you considered these? Someone else was asking about this tooNautilus wrote: ↑Sunday 05 May 2019 23:45 Hi,
I would like to see utility sensor readings in Pilot to resemble what you see on the Domoticz web UI. For example power consumption meters, counters etc. typically show the daily value. It does not make too much sense to show for example what the total consumption since the beginning of time has been for the house - instead it is interesting to see how much we have consumed today...
edit: and it would also be nice if there could be bar charts / histrograms for those utility types that use it also in Domoticz web UI.

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
I Have considered it. Tons of work involved to make something smart out of it, that works for all the kinds of devices that Domoticz supports.Nautilus wrote: ↑Sunday 02 June 2019 23:29@patoo77, have you considered these? Same for bar charts/histograms.
The most difficult part is that I don't own every kind of device, so it's hard for me to check how Domoticz handles some kinds of devices.
Just PMed you, we'll figure something out.

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
I'm having problems with the geofence function lately.
It worked flawless from the minute i purchased this app, but since the last update(s) it is not reliable anymore.

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Could it be possible to set the "last seen" per device? Or maybe just on the favourites-tab?

'Same problems here .. even a re-install .. (with a revitalise of the premium functions), did not work.
Testing the notify function with a new code works OK, (yes, the correct code is in domoticz too).
Geofence functions worked flawlesly up to the 3.0. update.
Updates .01, .02 and .03, reboots, etc didn't make any difference .
Already tested the iphone locationsetting for Pilot, is set to 'always'.
I'm lost now. Or better, Pilot looks to have lost sight of me

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
I have 2 iPhones with Pilot on it (mine and my wife).
Geo works fine on mine, doesn't work at all on my wife's...
She is on 12.4 and 3.0.3
I am on 12.1.3 and 3.0.3

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Solved it !
Appearantly it was just about deactivating the GSM dummy switch in the devicelist.
Selecting add new devices for 5 minutes from the settingsmenu.
And activating the dummy GSM switch again.
But it remains weird.

I'll be damned! I tried removing and re-adding the dummy switches for my wife's geo-locations from/to the devicelist and so far it works!
