Hi, great work, thanks for publishing this plug-in. Have you considered using milliseconds as parameter of movement for ShutterBox instead of percentage? Percentage is fine for shutters, however it is not precise enough for blinds. For blinds, the movement is a little more complicated, it should be possible to tilt them. For instance in my case, starting from 0% position, blinds take about 60 seconds to move down. Then, I move them up for 0.8 second (however, it could be 0.9 seconds on a very sunny day or in the eventing, or it could be 1 second on a cooler day). The movement up is needed for the blinds to tilt. This is the most simple case for blinds, it could get way more complicated, to complicate to explain here. However it would be very useful if even just this simplest case was implemented in your plug-in. At home, I use some python scripts that I wrote myself to control my blinds. The scripts do the job very well, however they lack GUI and also probably will need to be maintained in the future - and this is going to be a pain. I would love to switch control of my blinds to Domoticz, however I cannot do it at this time - at least not until I find some solution to this problem. Going down to 100% and then up to 99% does not solve the problem, because for some strange reason 99% is quite high up. I do not know C and probably will not find time to learn it just for this purpose. I will try, but probably will not achieve much. Even if I do, it will probably not pass code review on Github :)

Hi Fantom,

I have a Problem with this Module.
I´m using this Domoticz Version:
Version: 4.10717
Build Hash: b38b49e5
Compile Date: 2019-05-09 13:04:08
dzVents Version: 2.4.19
Python Version: 3.5.3 (default, Sep 27 2018, 17:25:39) [GCC 6.3.0 20170516]

I have added the Module to my Hardware, try to search, nothing happens.
Try to save Settings: Error Message: Problems saving the Settings
Domoticz crashes, no Hardware Device to find, Restart Domoticz by restartscript, Domoticz is working again
but when I try the Steps again, it did not work.

May this is what you Describe above, but:
Try to manual add the Device -- Error Message: Problems adding the Device

No Chance to get it running right now :(

Any Idea? Best Regards

hmm, still not possible to add new Devices.
Autosearch crashes Domoticz and Add Device did not work, now with no Error Message.

2019-09-05 11:37:56.487 Status: BleBox: Worker started...
2019-09-05 11:37:56.487 Error: BleBox: Cannot find any devices...

when I try to add manually, i see in Protocoll:
2019-09-05 11:45:42.397 Error: BleBox: Cannot find any devices...

But it has this IP and Name, something went wrong somewhere

Great, thank you, this worked now.

Now, it is interesting:
If I set with old Fibaro Shutter to 80% it nearly closed.
If I set with BleBox it is nearly open, but up and down goes in the correkt direction...
It´s so crazy, I like to trow the Fibaros away cause of Ghostswitching and Blebox also doing crazx things :(

yes, off course.
If I set to 80% it is nearly full open, if I change the Output for example,
then if I move the dot complete to the right side, ist stops at about 80%.
Domoticz says 100% closed but it ia not closed...

here, with a Pictuce you see what mean.

the first one is the BleBox and wrong, the second one with Zwave is ok.
up and down goes in correct directions when clicking on the Arrows...
it makes no difference if I choose "blinds" or "blinds inverted"

BleBox is configurable.
You may change direction, switches etc in config by the web or wBox app.

In domoticz, try maybe change switch type from "inverted" to normal.
