Hi, it looks like Google thinks all your devices are lights. Let me see what I can do today

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Anybody else having problems with Controlicz and the latest Domoticz beta?
Unfortunately I both installed a new router and updated to the latest beta yesterday, and now my Controlicz setup isn't working anymore..
But since it did work after installation of the new router, and before updating to the latest beta (as far as I remember) I think it's related to the beta.
Whoops, my bad, it was because of the VPN settings in my router..

Thanx Madgeni,
Problem solved!
Al the devices had a standard icon (lightbulb) and GH was trying to 'help' by identifying the devices as 'lights'.
after changing the icons the problem was fixed. I couldn't have fixed this without you. Many thanx!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I'm experiencing the same issue. I use it with the "Good morning" routine and GH opens my blinds. While they are opening, less than a second after they're moving, Google Home says (translated, more or less) "I'm sorry, I'm not able to contact 4 devices just now". They work instead, but I don't know which devices it's trying to activate.jimm2 wrote: ↑Wednesday 10 April 2019 17:51 Can anyone confirm that they have Controlicz working properly with a Google Home Routine?
I have setup a Google Home Routine to activate a Domoticz Scene via Controlicz. This works as expected but each time I voice activate the routine, I get a voice response from Google Home saying "Sorry, I can't reach the Controlicz, please try again later". This response occurs even though there is clearly a connection to Controlicz since the Scene is activated properly. I tried re-linking my Controlicz account in Google Home but it had no effect.
Is anyone else seeing this issue or found a way to disable this voice response?
Thanks
mantoz
PS:
As far as I know, saying "Activate <scene>" always works, so I suspect something related to the timing of the routine or so.

Thanks - will investigate this today. I think you're right, it's either a timing issue, or there's a response that a routine expects that it isn't getting.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Just to follow up on this - are you using a Domoticz scene to trigger the blinds, and using a Google Routine to activate the scene, or is it 4 individual blinds you're controlling in a Routine?mantoz wrote: ↑Wednesday 01 May 2019 0:24 I'm experiencing the same issue. controlling the 4 individual blinds.
Set the routine up when the blinds were appearing as lights/dimmers. Now they're seen as real blinds (due to an update in GH) and I can't find them anymore in Google Home. However, the "error message" (even though it was not a real error, as they worked anyway) was always played.
Thanks

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Who can help me.
I just created a free account for Controlicz and filled in the connection information. But when I tried "Test connection", I received the message "Check your connection setup".
But when I use the filled in information within a browser I can connect to my Domoticz setup from an external location. So I'm sure the connection details are right. I also have a valid SSL certificate, I only use a non default SSL port (8443).
What am I doing wrong?

Re: routine issue - so since the change to blinds, you can no longer see them in the Home app?

In the routine, what is the action you have? Is it "turn on", or "open"?mantoz wrote: ↑Thursday 02 May 2019 14:20

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
After I had contact with Madgeni, he came to the conclusion that I had a region block enabled on my router. After I disabled this, everything is working correct now.
Thank you.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Correct.
I removed controlicz from GH just now and will relink it later today, once I'm home (I need the wifi network to reconnect).
Being configured as lights I assume that the associated action was "turn on/off" instead of "open/close" before (they are configured as Inverted blinds in Domoticz).Madgeni wrote: In the routine, what is the action you have? Is it "turn on", or "open"?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
That could be the issue - as Google now know they are blinds, change the action to Open, and try again

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Ok, so to recap, I unlinked Controlicz then relinked it to my account.
Reconfigured the blinds in the correct rooms.
Result is that they're not available anymore in the routines: under "Change lights/sockets/other" (or something similar) I still don't have blinds.
Now, if I say "Good morning" I have no action on the blinds (as expected).
Well...I'm a little puzzled
Any idea?
Thanks
mantoz
PS:
This applies to routines only, blinds are working as usual if I ask to open/close one or more.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Will be possible tell in controlicz "hey google show me front camera on tv" or "hey google show me front camera" /Google Home Hub/ to show Domoticz IP Cameras?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
In my routines, I can 'Add an Action' - where i can type in a command I want Google to perform - can you not enter 'Open Blind' in there? Or does it not work if you do?
Re: cameras - i did look into it, i'm not sure the Domoticz API exposes a camera stream. i'll investigate

Thanks, found it and added. It seems to work correctly now, I will keep it monitored and let you know.
