As a workaround: clear the app data and reconfigure?

I tried that, but there's no change. I uninstalled the app, and deleted the nl.hnogames.domoticz.premium folder. However, when I reinstalled the app, I got exactly the same screen back again. Is there some other folder that needs to be cleared?

Right, so I must conclude that this Domoticz app does not work on Android One? It certainly did at one time, but not since a recent update, it would appear.

Hello,

I have a virtual multiswitch in my Domoticz and it has states like this:
0 Off
10 Clean
20 Pause
...

In Domoticz Web the values are shown as state-switch-surface (no idea what is the correct name)
10 Clean
20 Pause
..
so I can choose Clean.

In Domoticz App I have a drop down menu with the states shown. The "default" state is Clean, so I can not choose this value and trigger the action.
Is there a posibility for the drop down menu to also show state Off as default?

Regards
Kemal

Dear all,

Is it possible to display dimmer switches/sliders even when the dimmer is turned off? With the "old" domotica application you can press at any point on the dimmer slider and the lamp will go on at that point.
With the new Domoticz app I first have to switch on the lamp with the toggle switch (lamp may go on at full brightness) and then adjust the slider. If it's dark in the house and the light go on at full force it's not that nice for your eyes.

If tests are needed I'm very willing to help.

gcoupe wrote: Sunday 07 April 2019 8:25 And as you can see from my screenshot - there's NO Hamburger menu showing. It may be because the app is running on Android One, but whatever the cause, the app is currently unusable on my phone.
Same problem here.
Turned off Wi-Fi and mobile connection in android phone.
Then I can see that it doen not connect to an IP adress (what seems to be an old extern IP adres from a router i do not use anymore)
So that makes me clear what the reason why it does not connect.

The I deleted cache from the app Domoticz Lite
domoticz delete cache.jpg
domoticz delete cache.jpg (157.71 KiB) Viewed 2501 times
and deleted the app from inside the appstore.
Installed is again and then I get the possibility to assign new ip, port, name and pasword.
Now it's working from local ip and extern.

However, if I install Premium version I get the same problem, but can not fix that.

Exactly. The Premium version is currently unusable. Ironic that the free version works, but the version I paid for does not. An email to the app support some weeks back has gone unanswered.

Can you reset the app from the app settings? So in the domoticz app,
1) go to settings
2) go to advanced ( at the bottom of settings screen )
3) then Reset all app settings

Restart the app. fully configure the app, dont load an existing settings file from sd card

Does that work??

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "make a view account". Could you explain it in simpler terms for me? Thank you.

O i thought that you could still get to the navigation bar (because of the screenshot with the navigation panel).

- You cleared cache allready (i see from your posts)
- Have you also removed the data (the button next to clear cache)??
(oftewel, verwijder cache, maar ook de gegevens, allebei, van de premium app)

Currently I get 10 to 30*C
But when do you set your thermostat to below 10*C or above 30*C?
Few example:
Boiler, fireplace, smokebox...
It uses the min/max value that you can specify in the settings/default values

When loging in to the website using their accounts it works great, they can only see their rooms. Logging in to the Android App gives them acces to everything. I already cleared the data and cache on the phone and did a re-install.
It's a Samsung A3 model 2017 running Android version 8.0.0 with Domoticz Lite.

Thanks!
Is this still the case, i've did quite some work on accounts/rights on the last couple of releases...

Right, I think I've finally discovered how to sort this.

What I had been doing (as I posted a while back) was to uninstall the app, and then delete the app folder - thinking (as did other users, apparently) that this would clear the cache and all app data from the phone. It clearly doesn't.

I've finally discovered what is meant by "clear the cache" in Android-speak. You mean go to the Android App settings, open the App info for Domoticz, touch Storage, and then use both the Clear Storage and the Clear Cache buttons...

That has finally reset the app, and now I see the hamburger menu. Got there eventually.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0 Remote settings

RoboInfo wrote: Friday 18 January 2019 0:25 Hi, I think the app works great and has a nice feeling. However can anyone tell me if it's easy or even possible to use the App outside your private network. I cannot figure out how to set the settings so that the App can connect to my IP. I search on keywords like remote and external etc. but can not find anything how to do this except for a solution to create a client and all kind of magic.

I finally had another app going but I like this one better.
Under server settings, you get set two specific connections, one for local and one for remote.
