Currently I have two Greenwave power strips with 6 outlets. It is a pity that they are not sold anymore.
So I started looking for an alternative and found stuff like:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/wholesale?cat ... mart+strip
Will it be possible to add those to Domoticz?
WiFi power strips?

Re: WiFi power strips?
I'm using Meross and I'm feeling pretty good with them
I use a python script to send ON/OFF command and Alexa via NodeRed to get them Sync with domoticz
I'm not able to write a plugin for them, but this is somthing I would try in the future
ciao

Seems https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Wifi-Sma ... 86078.html that there is an ESP8285 inside and is possible to get Tasmota on it.
More info on that: https://github.com/arendst/Sonoff-Tasmo ... -USB-ports

Re: WiFi power strips?
I'm a little bit confused...
So, it is not possible to buy a WiFi power strip, hit some sort of connect button and add the device to Domoticz in a way that is similar to adding Z-Wave devices or 433Mhz devices?

Re: WiFi power strips?
nope... it does not works like that...
You buy the power stripe, add a virtual button (one per each outlet on the stripe) and activate a script that will interact with the vendor cloud.
Note that those outlets do NEED internet connection, unless they would not work.

Thank you for that reply. So, this is not at all an alternative to the Greenwave Powernode 6. Too bademme wrote: ↑Friday 22 March 2019 14:25 nope... it does not works like that...
