Esp-01 motor control

Post by Mrrodz »

Hi guys im hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I want to control a dc motor. Just straight on off no speed control. Its a 3 v motor and will be on for about a second.

I plant to use it to drive the motor in my glade air freshener and discard the board that comes pre built with the unit.

My end goal is to activate via domoticz when im home only and times i can set from domoticz. Id also like to power it from the 3v battery’s inside but not sure how long it would last. Eventually id like to get the battery voltage sent back to domoticz too.

I think i could do this with a ESP-01 and a transistor but not sure on the best one to use. Would like to keep it as small as possible. Many thanks

Load ESPeasy to your ESP and send commands from Domoticz to it.
You can use time scheduler for this switch.
From battery is not possible drive ESP for longer time.
