Neo CoolCam Unknown: type=0200, id=1027 using NAS-WR01ZE

Post by thecosmicgate »

I've recently buy these NAS-WR01ZE , but when I add this to my domoticz ( version 4.10311) with zwave version :1.4-3311-g51da0ebc-dirty , it tells me that's a unknown device .
Also tried to exclude and include again but nothing ;(
What's wrong ;( Image

I already changed / edit the config xml's ,(and ex - include) without success

I have the same issue, however not sure if this is Domoticz related though. I guess this has to do with device identification in openzwave. Probably a good idea to report the issue there as well.

No problem with NAS-WR01ZE, I have three of these running without any problem. Maybe a defect unit?

Yeah same here, i have a few running as well.

This might be a newer version of the device. I can see it reports a different version of the application and protocol version as well.

This is a correctly identified plug:

And this is a unknown plug:

The unit is working fine ! I can control it using domoticz, but domoticz can't read the configuration

ok fixed locally. If you like you can request a perm fix through this method:
https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave ... ng-Devices

edit your /domoticz/Config/manufacturer_specific.xml

search for NEO Coolcam and add this line

<Product type="0200" id="1027" name="Power plug 12A" config="shenzen_neo/nas-wr01z.xml"/>

Save and restart domoticz.

Thnx but I think only restarting is not enough, I need to exclude and include this plug again ?

Hmm okay , I entered this extra line , rebooted domoticz , still the unknown: type etc.

Trying with exclude ->include later today (@work now)

Did it work out? If not:

I realised I added the extra line to ~/open-zwave/config/manufacturer_specific.xml first, but without success. So thats why I added the extra line to ~/domoticz/Config/manufacturer_specific.xml. So maybe both locations need to be edited before it works?

You can also run ~/open-zwave$ sudo make xmltest to make sure you did not make a mistake editing the file.

you could move all zwcfg_*.xml files from~/domoticz/Config/ into a backup folder. And restart Domoticz.

"+" means it's a zwave plus device.

Are you able to set device parameters now?
My coolcam type=0200 version won't update it's LED parameter for example.

Secondly the kWh measurement reads an abnormal 21474836.62 kWh

Yes it runs OK. I didnt check the led settings.

Code: Select all

2019-02-11 23:03:18.097 (Zwave) General/kWh (kWh Meter)
2019-02-11 23:03:18.430 (Zwave) Usage (Poele)
2019-02-11 23:03:18.432 (Zwave) General/kWh (kWh Meter)
2019-02-11 23:03:18.898 (Zwave) General/Voltage (Voltage)
