Nest login error

V4.9700, RBPI 3B
Since a couple of days my domoticz seems to have troubles logging in on the nest service:
Error: Nest: Error login!

I try'd rebooting domoticz and removing and adding my nest account.
I checked the password by logging in on the webportal, and the password is correct.
Anywhere else i can look, the error is not very informative.

I still cannot login.

Tryed the Oauth method, but that also is giving an error, not getting a valid API key...

That seems more of a problem the nest not reporting its status, that has nothing to do with not being able to login to the Nest portal.

same issue, can you find a solution for this prioblem?

i tried to add a new user for nest, make a new nest account, use Oauth nest account and instal last domoticz beta

Same problem, Error on login with username and password.
- I tried to create a new user,
- asked for api key , site telles me they are upgrading the systems and not accepting new requests : The api key i get is not activated.

Just for info : Nest app and website work normal with same credentials.
So for now i have no Nest integration anymore.

To me it looks like nothing to do with domoticz, but with nest messing up
Hope it is soon solved.

Hi

I have received today my nest and I have been able to setup it properly without any login errors (for now)

2018-10-15 18:30:43.089 NestOAuthAPI: Login success. Token successfully validated.




I have some issues with the F/C conversion in Domoticz, but that's for another post

Without changing anything it started working again.....
I think Google/Nest did some things on their server side.....

Has it maybe something to do with two factor authentication? When I login from the web-browser I need to enter a code that I receive via the SMS on my mobile phone.

Just upgraded to 10228 version and I still have the same problem when I enable the Nest.

I don't see a change in the configuration. Don't know what to do with an API key as being discussed. Any idea's?

Found the solution

You need to select a different Nest HW type, see screenshot. Then follow the instructions stated at: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/NestDeveloperApiKey

I have got the NEST Thermostat/Protect OAuth configured and get the error below:
NESTOAuthAPI: No API key available
NESTOAuthAPI: Access token missing. Will request an API key based on Product Id, Product Secret and PIN code.
NESTOAuthAPI: Preparing URL
NESTOAuthAPI: Doing POST request to URL: https://api.home.nest.com/oauth2/access_token
NESTOAuthAPI: Will now attempt to fetch access token.
Error: NESTOAuthAPI: Error getting access token: failed to fetch token from API. Responce code: 0
Error: NESTOAuthAPI: Error retrieving access token: Received access token does not appear to be valid.

copied the all codes without any spaces.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

seems to be a Domoticz issue.

when I use the NestOauth PIN in homebridge I get a new token to use in my configuration.
Within Domoticz I only get an error:
2019-05-02 22:56:43.108 Error: NestOAuthAPI: Error while performing login: Got empty response body while getting structures. Response code: 27
2019-05-02 22:56:43.108 Error: NestOAuthAPI: Login failed: token did not validate.

and do not get a token.
