Looks like it keeps working fine, I have both P1 meter and Toon now enabled for Energy and Gas measuring and both output same values for the last 24 hours.

Looking good ;)

i added a small wiki page about 'toon' , feel free to adjust it:
http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Toon

Ps. Why you have a P1 smart meter (with cable connected to Domoticz that will supply you every 10 seconds an update for Electra) and a 'toon' where you have to pay a subscription every month ? (and get an update every 2 minutes)

If you connect your thermostat to an opentherm gateway, and use an compatible thermostat (Honeywell) , is that not cheaper ?
It's a one time investment, compared to a monthly fee ....

Don't you trust your P1 reader more than your energy provider? (yeah yeah i know i get some flames for this sentence Eneco....)

That might be right but there is no decent looking thermostat like Toon that looks good on the wall, we have tried many other solutions but Toon just works and just looks great on the wall plus it has a lot of extra features which opentherm thermostats dont have.

Also, it doesnt sent it every 2 minutes?? i see current energy usage almost instantly?

I have bought the p1 meter cable purely because i couldnt connect Toon with it before, right now im using both measurements but soon i will choose one or the other or just leave em both monitoring things :) (i have split up the p1 meter with a rj 11 splitter, so i have both plugged in).

Any idea why it states:
Toon Yes Toon Thermostat /dev/ttyUSB1

As if toon is on usb1? it works though i just dont understand why domoticz thinks its on USB.

I see you added json stuff for toon's programs but how do you actually select one of the programs (for the thermostat) in Domoticz itself? I was expecting like buttons or something to press to choose the program it should set toon to.

That will take some time....

for now, just add 4 light switches, and then use the 'on-action' in it's settings to call the url's

Difficult way to just add a simple button if you ask me. I also dont see any on-action, just Switch type on/off and 15 other types. Very complicated sorry.

Update: Crashes domoticz when trying to add a dummy button.

Thank you :) Only negative side right now ofcourse is you cannot see what the current status (program) is, except for the current temperature setting.

Hi all, i see now that there is also the option now under hardware to create virtual sensors (vakantie, weg, thuis etc) for Toon, and so i clicked create and then under devices added each. Now they show up under temperature but what is the purpose of this? I was expecting to be able to click one of them and that it would then set Toon to that programmed temperature but it does nothing? Thx.

I am also wondering if there is a solution for this?

Im playing arround with Toon for a while using the unofficial API (also using official sandbox api). This forum is one of my information points. Time to do something back:

URI for getting 5 minute interval data. (the RealTime graph in tablet toon). Usage is equal as for the GraphData:
/toonMobileBackendWeb/client/auth/getGasFlowData
/toonMobileBackendWeb/client/auth/getElecFlowData

URI for getting graph data of the wallplug. These also need an "devUuid=". But it's not the UUID of the device iteself, but the UUID of the graph. These can be found with retrieveToonState, and look for

"deviceConfigInfo > device > x > quantityGraphUuid"
/toonMobileBackendWeb/client/auth/smartplug/getGraphData

"deviceConfigInfo > device > x > flowGraphUuid"
/toonMobileBackendWeb/client/auth/smartplug/getFlowData

It's a bit cryptic, but who knows the unoffical api a little bit, will understand...

Bringing up a very old post.. But maybe this way the creator of the Toon module sees it.

About two months ago Eneco, the company that owns Toon® killerd the toonopafstand.nl website, which was used to connect Domoticz and Toon together. They seem to have an official API now. It's on https://www.toonapi.com/ Is there any change of that API going to be used now?

(edit: I see the certifcate of the toonapi website has been expired)

Certificate error has been fixed. So, if anyone is willing to subscribe and make Toon work again with Domitcz (s)he can. Hope there will be a working solution soon
