Hi,
I think theres a delay between Home being available, and then Home Controls being available I'm afraid. Until then, you'll have to use one of the languages which is working

Hi,
any news about the inverted blinds implementation?
I still need to use the inverted switch on/off commands in Italian to control my blinds.
Thanks,
mantoz

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I have problem with domoticz and alexa. After sucessfull connection betwen domoticz-controlicz and alexa i was able to find temp sensor. But when i click to sensor in alexa app its jump directly to settings of sensor. So my alexa doesnt see value of sensor. (Type: temperature sensor) . On controlicz page i see currently value without problem.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I tried to change system language to English (US) from Swedish to get the home controls function but it still doesn't work. There are no settings related to home control and "Explore" button gives me nothing - that is, I press it, and nothing happens.
saying "sync my devices" gives me errors that tell me that this function isn't availible.
I have tried clearing my cache for google now and that doesn't help either. It would be cool to test the function of controllicz but I'm at a dead end here, any suggestions?

If You ever get an error like this when trying to link Google Home with Controlicz You probably got an cache issue.
It happens at the end of the process of linking your Google Account to Controlicz.
Then try clearing your cache on the current browser on your mobile phone or tablet that you are using for implement the link.

Thanks to Nick Madge for pointing me in the right direction to find the problem.

Yes and no, Google Assistant on the phone is in Swedish, Google Home is in english.
So it's a bit of "Swenglish".

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
This is a bit confusing, are we talking about google home the application or google home the smart speaker? To get voice control over domoticz I need to have home controls enabled in google assistant, correct?

When I talk about Google Home, I mean this product.olleman wrote: ↑Wednesday 12 September 2018 17:44This is a bit confusing, are we talking about google home the application or google home the smart speaker? Google Home the smart speaker.

Google Assistant on my mobile phone, and other Android devices, is in Swedish while GH only understands and speaks English.

You can either via GH or Google Assistant on your mobile phone use ifttt.com to send English voice commands to Domoticz, to turn on and off lights. You can also do this with Controlicz.com, though in a more integrated way, when you can group on rooms e.t.c in a much nicer way. This provided that you linked https://ifttt.com to your Goggole account and similar to https://controlicz.com/.
I do not remember that I have specially activated home controls, with Controlicz they just pop up and then You group them by room.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
hm...so, you have Google assistant in Swedish, an account with controllicz and you can control lights etc? Or do I need ifttt as well? I'm starting to wonder if perhaps my problem is that I currently only have a "free subscription" with controllicz....
Let me get this straight for how to get controllicz to work with Android: Register for an account, port forward the port (443) and test the connection from controllicz webpage. If it works, goto google assistant and click on "Explore" or "Utforska" in Swedish and add controllicz from there and then it should work?
Is there a step that I'm missing since I can't even press the function "explore" - I see the button but nothing happens when pressed.
Edit: Uninstalled updates for the google app and now "Explore" button works and I can find Controllicz but I doesn't seem that I can add it's functionallity. I'm moving forward anyway

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Finally got my setup working with a subscription and google assistant in english. I have all my switches in room plans since beofre and they show up in controlicz but they don't actually belong to a room in the settings of controlicz of my phone. Am I correct that I need to assign rooms manually on the phone the first time to be able to say stuff like "turn on the lights in the office"?
