Remove Logitech Media Server player?
I have a few players that I won't be using anymore but Domoticz is still trying to poll for them. Is there any way to remove the players completely? I figure a SQL editor will be needed but where are the files I will need to look for for this?
Re: Remove Logitech Media Server player?
You can delte the player just like any otther device,
If the player isn't physically there, Domoticz will not add this player anymore because it is not in the LMS 'player list'

I've deleted them from the Domoticz device list but the players still show up under the hardware setup page for the LMS. Any device in that list will be polled for regardless if they are deleted from the device list in Domoticz. There's no way to remove a player from the LMS settings page in Domoticz from what I can see.Eduard wrote:You can delte the player just like any otther device,

On the LMS server itself, the log is littered with instances of requests from a device that doesn't exist as well.
Example on the LMS server itself:
[17-01-28 01:07:02.0907] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (443) 01:c5:f8:6c:d8:18: request not dispatchable!

Still haven't found a way to disable polling for particular LMS devices. If anyone has any other suggestions I could try, I'll give it a go...
My LMS logs are flooded with these type of requests for mac addresses of devices not logged in (nor ever will be because they were old phones that aren't in use anymore):
Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (443) 01:c5:f8:6c:d8:18: request not dispatchable!

Re: Remove Logitech Media Server player?
Do you have any suggestions on this? I've tried a few different things and can't get it. I need to be able to delete the old players in Domoticz. I'm not sure if they would still be part of the LMS database somewhere but the situation regardless is that Domoticz is polling a player that doesn't seem to exist in LMS and LMS is throwing a ton of errors in the log for this.
I don't think I need to remove the player instance from LMS but somehow needs to be removed from the Domoticz list.

I'm having the same problem. Can't remove the device from the Logitech Mediaserver tab.

Same issue here, I've removed the plug in and enabled it again. This causes new devices to be created and the old ones to be removed
Synology NAS, slave PI3, ZWave (Fibaro), Xiaomi zigbee devices, BTLE plant sensor, DzVents, Dashticz on tablet, Logitech Media Server

Re: Remove Logitech Media Server player?
Such a shame that we can't delete from the LMS hardware.. To delete the plugin and reinstall would be a nightmare as I have about 10 players that are all in scripts, using names and IDX numbers. Would take a few hours to put everything right. I'm glad I have found out what is causing the not dispatchable errors flooding the log.
So to clarify we have no way of removing the ones we don't use anymore from the LMS hardware tab? Any way of editing the SQL library like someone mentioned above?
Cheers

Sorry for my late response. Due to several reasons I did not had time to respond and add this feature. I will look into this very soon! I cannot promise anything about a release yet.

Thats awesome, thanks.
Not sure whether to chance the latest beta! I might wait until the final version.
Great progress though and thank you!
