Vocal command for Domoticz

Post by forumfab »

Hi all Domoticz users

I suggest every one to take a look on this new application

With this precious tool, you'll have an easy solution to command your box like jarvis did ...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .pro&hl=fr

There is two products, and old version ( more than one year), an a new one version 2

In both cases , there is a free version ( to test), and an other one, witch will give you a full access to all the product power

Now, the product documentation in english

Hi Edwink

I suppose than you did observed that you can download full ready solutions on the site, and then configure them with you personnal IP API commands

http://jarvishome.fr/download.html

First of all install a Butler (Kind) or (Wise)
Then install a command scenario template by download it, and filling your ip API Command, like

http://your_ip_domoticz:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=switchlight&idx=99&switchcmd=On for Open scenario part
http://your_ip_domoticz:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=switchlight&idx=99&switchcmd=Off for Close scenario part

And so on

It's really easy to use

You will just have to folow this explanation to start

http://jarvishome.fr/howToStart.html

Every think is indicated step by step

Hello,
This is my first post, so I present myself. I'm the developper of this android application.

And for your information, there is a new version available.

The main feature is that you can manage multiple Jarvis@Home installed on multiple android systems, and you will be able to synchronize the configurations between all of them.
Personnally, I share the configurations between my home tablet, my personnal mobile phone and an old phone set in my bathroom :)

To start: http://jarvishome.fr/howToStart.html

See you soon,

But first here are the new features:
- Scenarios/actions can be executed on a remote mobile (notification, TTS, openUrl, tasker, etc...)
- Android TV Support
- More actions available in the free version
- Options are added in the application settings to choose which service must be started at launch (Http Server and/or Voice Recognition)
- New action to generate notification with a vibration schema
- new Google translation toolbar in the interface

And the bugfixes:
- Review of the volume management
- system.lastSpeech now returns the TTS sentence

This could give voice control AND protect privacy, right? It doesn't need the cloud? If so: brilliant!

Hi @blauwebuis,

Yes there is no cloud for the voice recognition everything is local.

To be really honest: If you execute a scenario on a "remote" device, in this case I need the cloud to determine the location of the device. It is the only case where the cloud is required, but it is your choice to use or not this feature.

Hello,

I published a new version. It allows you to have an overview of variables & synonyms of all your configurations.
You can edit quickly variables/synonyms value without opening the configuration.
It's easier, allows you to have a quick look on the variables and allows you to stabilize the synonyms accross all the configurations.

Example

Thanks,

that's great...
I use it now since weeks and surprised by the power: able now to put up/down sound level of my TV, change channels, request if it will rain or not, put on/off my lights/TV..., have rooms temperature etc ...
AND all of that stay local... nothing to go outside :-)
really great piece of software.

right.

this is the reason why will spend some time to create configuration in automatic way.
For the moment, On/Off devices are managed and working.
Can retreive temperature and ask it.

Remaining:
lights/dimmer
scenarios
.. and some extra

All, if possible, in native language.

Fresh install, newbie:

1) it only recognises first words, not sentences.
Like if the recognition is only done for 0.2 secs.
2) can it be used in conjunction with Google Assistent?
3) can it be used on a Alexa or Home device (dedicated)? Or only tablets and phones
