Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
so it's a Scene in Domoticz? Can only be turned on? Controlicz handles those

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
For my curtains I have a push on switch which activates a motor, the motor then runs untill the curtains reach a stop and then the motor resets itself so it runs in the opposite direction the next time the switch is turned on.
So I have a variable that records whether the curtains are open or closed and use 2 virtual switched to open and close the curtains, these activate the push on switch and are controlled by Google shortcuts. So 'Hey, Google, open the curtains' translates to 'Turn the curtains on'
Also this allows 'open the curtains' to be ignored if they are already open and vice-versa .

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi!
Thank you for adding me to the google-test. However, the instructions is a bit unclear, as i do not know what we are trying to achieve, and how conversions.com are related.
I received one link : https://console.actions.google.com/proj ... atorcreate which just says "There was an error completing your request, try again". (Link is censored, in case there was an unique ID in it)
If i follow the conversions guide, i kind of end up with my own project, which i don't think is correct.
Could someone explain to med what the link (https://console.actions.google.com/proj ... atorcreate) is for?
Am i supposed to import this in my actions.google.com account somehow?
Sorry if this is comes of as negativity, i just did not understand what to do, and why. (And i am generally not a n00b in these kind of things)
If this project works and is good, i will definately donate to support the work.

Transform your push switch in a normal on/off one (or create a new one as a scene) that send the same command wether it's on or off.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
@Madgeni thank you for your software (i've donated).
Unfortunately even if i've followed the instruction and the Controlicz(Test) device can be found in the device that i can add if i click on that i'm prompted for the account information, than i'm asked to allow google full access (and obviously i allow it)... than login information again, spinning wheel but returns to the "device page" without adding Controlicz.
Any help?
Regards.

Ok I have the solution for me.
You must add your device in the Plan Domoticz an it's work.
Thank Nick great job really.

Can you check that the devices you want to control are in a Room Plan on your Domoticz?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Something has been going a bit wrong today...
First I couldn't sync devices without an error and in order to try and fix it I unlinked and tried to re-link in Google home...
I get the authorise message (twice) and then this from the controlicz site..

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Although I now get the same on hive... Two attempts at authorisation and then a 404 error
The British gas site says this is an oauth workflow issue. Wonder if Google have changed something today?
So, now for my tinkering I have nothing working! Ho hum the price of testing and beta ... Patience...

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
erk - i'll take a look!
Ok, so it failed for me - same as you - i then tried again, and it worked. I'll take a look, something has changed, but i've not touched Controlicz in a few days
so the request from Google was missing the response_type in the oauth2 call - but it could have coincided with an error in a users request restarting Controlicz. If there's an error with a users request, it forces Controlicz to restart, which might have coincided with you (and then me) reauthing.
I'll keep an eye on it, let me know how you get on

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I left it over night and it is still doing it this morning.
I have tried Hive and Lightwaverf but they are also failing. Looks like a Google thing.
Do you have any access to Googlers? Thanks for looking though.
P
Update: After a lot of googling I tried an old phone with an older version of Google home and it worked (with an error that looked like it failed but hadn't). So it is either that or the fact there was only one Google account on that phone.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Ok, that's strange - maybe it's an update they've pushed which is causing the issue?
I have a meeting with Google on Tuesday evening to discuss Controlicz, as they wanted to only allow lights & switches, not thermostats.
I'll update after that
