ikea ansluta/under cabinet lights

Post by rechsoz »

hi there,
i am an absolute noob in domoticz. I can thinker with thinks but need manuals and howtos to get things done. So please help me! If I am mistakenly in the wrong area of the forum, please show me the right way. I do search for answers, but did not find a answer yet.

my setup
some hue lights, controlled with alexa or google or openhab (or domticz). mostly using alexa in practice
an raspberry with domoticz (set up for it). working fine
- usb - an arduino with rflink and an cc2500 chip
controlling an IKEA under cabinet ansluta light.
i have that working in domoticz. I added some kind of switch, and can turn it on and off (i did not know how to add "50%" brightness mode, but thats a minor flaw).

What i´d like to have: I want to bundle up/group the ikea with a hue lamp in my kitchen. So everytime i turn that one on, domoticz turns the cabinet light on. that should also work when i turn on the hue lamp via alexa for example.

the idea is to be able to come into the kithcen and say, "kitchen on" and both lights go on. When they are bundled i can also easily bundle them with my movement tracker etc.

any ideas? Do i need a lua script? I did not understand the master/slave option, and did not find the groups.
Please help me from start to end!

but then it will only work when i click on domoticz.

Will it activate the "scenario" when I switch my hue light with my hue remote/ my alexa/ my hue app?

Controlicz can control Domoticz via Alexa, but you are out of luck with Hue

I think you can do this quite simple in Blockly

uh yeah, it works.
only problem: if hue liht is "hard set off" (disconnected from power with a regular switch) its status seems to be different from "off", so this ist not recognized. What to set then?

Does Domoticz recognize the Hue Light as OFF when its disconnected from power with a regular switch?
