Fibaro wall plug timers in domoticz

Post by sebasjuh84 »

Hello,

First of all sorry if I post this topic in the wrong section.
I have a little problem with my fibaro wall plug in domoticz.

The wall plug is connected and working fine, and on that wall plug I plugged in my garden lights.
When I enable the wallplug from domoticz my lights are going on in my garden and when I disable the wallplug from domoticz my lights are going off in my garden.

Now I added from the switches tab in domoticz two timers to the wall plug timer (see the image below).

(sorry for the image link but the image link isn't working in the [ img] tags)

I want the lights in my garden to go on after the sunset and the lights go off after the Sunrise (so the lights are on when it is dark outside).
The action go on after the sunset is working fine and is switching all my lights in the garden to on.
Only the action go off after sunrise isn't working, my lights won't go off on the time the sunrise time in domoticz.

Now I have to manually from domoticz put my lights to off.

Can someone help me and point me in the right direction what I am doing wrong and why the action go off after sunrise isn't working?

Hi,

As far as i can see it should work.
Did you look in the log of the switches to see if they are put on or off ?
Also nothing wrong in the devices page ?
I have NeoCoolcam and will test it tonight with the same settings.

Hi,

I've attached some images:
I am using a variable which calls it DAY or NIGHT.
By using this variable in a event that turns the lights on or off, it works...

At the event where i switch the light on/off, you see i also want to know if its on or off..
When you dont do this, your log will keep showing: On, On, On, On, On, On, On, On, etc ;)

Hi,

Looks good, but it should work anyway with the timer function.
I tried to switch my NeoCoolcam wallplug with <after sunset> and < after sunset with offset>
The wallplugg just does not start, so the <sunset> <sunrise> function is not working properly.
The log file shows no action.
Even with <on time> the switch goes on, but not always off.
Hope they will solve this soon, the timer function is very essential for me, and it should be reliable.
I will try to place the switch in a group and use the timer of the group

Hi,

I tried the two events and at first nothing happened. The lamp was off and stayed off.
I had to put the switch manually on and off and then the lamp went on and cannot be put off manually (and that is correct).
Is it normal to start an event this way?

Hi Sandy,

Did you test the events yourself?
This morning i noticed that the lamp was still on.
In the log of the switch there is no off action.
So it is not the NeoCoolcam.
Manual switching works perfect.

Hi,

I tested the timer function of the wall plug switch, and that seems to work now. The plug is correctly switched of.
I also tested sunset and sunrise in the timers, but that is still not working like i think it should work.
Blockly events are running correct.

Hi,

The timers of the switch work correct with sunset and sunrise.
The timers work quite different compared to the Blockly events.
They only start at the exact time defined by the timer settings.
After sunrise without a delay it switches only at sunrise time and does not look if it is after sunrise when activated on a later moment.
With a delay you can test the function during the day.
Now i understand how the timers work. I'm satisfied with the beta version V3.8055, now everything works as supposed to .
