Measuring ampere with the Neo Coolcam power plug?

Post by Aad3229 »

I am using the Neo Coolcam Power Plug (GC00AM NAS - WR01ZE) with Domoticz version 3.8153 (latest stable) and the Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5. I thought is was possible to measure Amps with this power plug but I cannot get this displayed. In the utility tab I only get kWh, Volt and 2 x Watt displayed.

Is it possible to display Amps and if so, how?

I got more sensors, including one showing the amps:

Maybe try to exclude and re-include.

This said, it is true that I have another one which showed a couple additional sensors after inclusions, so there seems to be some inconsistency when this devices are included.

Your device 134 is wrongly recognized that might be due OZW.
Upgrade to the latest OZW ( Version: 1.4-2713-ge2021e46-dirty )

It was my understanding that OZW can not be upgraded separately from Domoticz, can it?

I have the Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU with firmware Version: 1.4-2501-g5af6780-dirty. I googled but can not find another firmware. On the Eotec website I find a message from: Mon, 4 Apr, 2016:
"There is no current firmware update for the Z-Stick Gen5. This page will be updated at a later time if there is a new firmware."

Anyone knows whre to get the above mentioned Version: 1.4-2713-ge2021e46-dirty ?

AAd3229, I think you are confusing the aeotec stick firmware version with the OpenZwave version which is what EddyG is relating to.

As you have discovered, there doesn't seem to be a any fw update for the stick itself.

The latest releases of OpenZwave (OZW) can be found at http://old.openzwave.com/snapshots/.

However OZW is integrated into Domoticz and, at least last time I checked, can't be upgraded separately.

My version of Domoticz is 3.8770 and it contains version 1.4-2824-g148ac06-dirty of OZW. If your version is Domoticz is an old one, you may want to try upgrade it to get a newer version of OZW.

I upgraded OZW several times, but you should stick to the 1.4 branch.
