Zipato RFID Mini keypad reset (how?) Topic is solved

I have a zipato RFID Mini keypad, and it was included on my old configuration, but I reset my zwave stick and factory reset all my zwave devices, and this is the only one I can NOT reset. There is nothing in the manual except that I can exclude the node with the original host (the stick which I reseted, so that will not work) or with a zipato box, even thou the keypad it not on its zwave network (strange how you can exclude it without including it first, which I do not have, and why can I not use openzwave or a button combo for that?).

I tried http://www.benext.eu/static/manual/tagreader500.pdf factory reset but that does not work, and zipato refers me to the manual (in which states nothing about a button press to factory reset).

Can someone please tell me how to factory reset it?

I'm also facing this problem now.

After I accidentally hardreset my ZME-UZB I'm now not able to reset the keypad... The old configuration is still available in domoticz, but I do not know how to reset this piece of hardware

I had the same problem. I pushed the wrong button and my z-wave controller was returned to factory defaults.
after a long search i found that any controller (even if the keypad is not included in the z-wave network) can send an exclude frame to all z-wave devices.

this worked for me:
- put the z-wave controller in exclude mode
- put the zipato keypad in exclude mode (hold tamper switch for 1 second)

this did not work the first time but after 5 attempts the device was back to factory default and could be included in the new z-wave network.

the exclude process with my second keypad took about 15 attempts. so keep trying
