Hello,
Is there a possibility to make dashticz only accesible with password from external so another network than home network?
And that you dont need it when you are in the network. Because when i create dashticz now you can just go to ip:port/directory/ and you will be in the dashboard withput any protection.

Are you using the Domoticz Webserver or a dedicated one like nginx or Apache? You are able to protect it with an .htaccess file if you are using Apache for example.Justinn wrote: ↑Tuesday 07 November 2017 10:27 Hello,

First of all: @robgeerts: Thank you very, very much for your efforts! I do love your work!
I've been evaluating Dashticz for a couple of weeks now, and I have a very extensive set build. And yes, it takes some effort to figure out stuff and get stuff working.
There are a couple of things that might be on the WiKi page:

There are a couple of things that might be on the WiKi page:
- Remove the /* and */ from the example CONFIG_DEFAULT.js before you start edit this file. Or mention this in BOLD on the Wiki and/or in the header of the file?
- Please remember, that when you are on a Dualstack (IPv4 & IPv6), you might need to login to Domoticz first, and then start Dashticz, due to the fact that Domoticz does not (yet) has proper support to define IPv6 addresses as trusted addresses.
- List the Thermostats that are not (yet) working in Dashticz. (I cannot seem to get my Honeywell Evo working, maybe my bad.....)

I am using domoticz webserver but I think i will try apache than. Is it also possible in apache to let internal ips for free access without logging in and from external access with log in?

@robgeerts
Hello, my blinds percentage are shown as blinds without positioning. When I change them within Domoticz to blinds percentage inverted I will get a nice slider. But the direction is wrong. Around page 26 there was already a discussion but I couldn't find solution. I use Fibaro roller shutter 2 controler and one philio controler. According to my experience inverted is just needed when the wires connect to the controlers are crossed, so just swap the cables and no need for inverted anylonger. The stop button could be necessary and depends on settings in controler configuration toggle/momentary/single momentary.
Please could you add the slider for blinds percentage?
I like the handling in Domoticz where you just hit the icons to open or close the blinds, instead of arrows up and down. Is that possible to add this to?
Thanks for your great pice of coding
Mike

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions
Hello,
I just tried installing dashticz on apache webserver like someone said before and I am able to access dashticz using the ip and directory but there is no connection with domoticz. I know for sure that I have the right ip because it was working when it was in the domoticz directory.
Hope someone knows the problem and a fix.
Best regards Justinn

I agree, I would love this to be an option within dashticz. Perhaps a feature request, @robgeerts?Justinn wrote:Hello,

@sailmich, please try latest version!
@ALL, sorry, I'm a little busy lately, its hard for me to keep up all requests.
Its better to add them to the github so I can manage them better: https://github.com/robgeerts/dashticz_v2

Added to latest beta!MikeF wrote: ↑Thursday 26 October 2017 16:36OK, I've managed to solve this: in main.js, after the 'if' statement in function getDevices starting with this line:MikeF wrote: ↑Wednesday 25 October 2017 11:11In my dashboard I've got a LightwaveRF dimmer (Lighting 5), which uses 32 steps rather than the usual 16. This is handled OK by Domoticz, and the value set in Domoticz is shown correctly in Dashticz (max value shown is 96%).
However, if I try to reduce the slider setting by 1 step (in Domoticz, this would take it down to 93%), in Dashticz it snaps down to 40% (and similarly for other settings).
I suspect this is due to it having 32 steps rather than 16.there needs to be a similar block of code which checks for MaxDimLevel = 32 for these devices, i.e.,Code: Select all
if(parseFloat(device['MaxDimLevel'])==100){
I've amended my version of main.js, but it would be great if @robgeerts can incorporate this - beer tokens would be forthcoming!Code: Select all
else if(parseFloat(device['MaxDimLevel'])==32){ $( ".slider"+device['idx'] ).slider({ value:Math.ceil((device['Level']/100)*32), step: 1, min:2, max:32, slide: function( event, ui ) { sliding = true; slideDevice($(this).data('light'),ui.value); }, change:function( event, ui ) { sliding = true; slideDevice($(this).data('light'),ui.value); }, stop: function( event, ui ) { sliding = false; } });

@robgeerts
I tried to update via git pull and got.
I just took main.js but then I got Domoticz offline message. I put my old main.js back and Domoticz was online. Compare your new main.js with old one. Old 74,6 kB new 68,8 kB? I assume when something added the file must be bigger, so maybe something went wrong.

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions
@htilburgs, do you have json-output of a blinds-device for me?
@sailmich, I removed some code for debugging purposes, so thats why it is smaller...
Test latest BETA by pulling it in a new folder.
