Hello,
i have in my home an old ferrasi electical meter and want read it out with an esp8266 and domoticz,
i have it working based on thim, but i want my instant usage calulate on time between the pulsen is there a tutorial or can someone help me?

I use an Arduino sketch simulating a Youless powermeter. The Youless is a standard device in Domoticz, and report is like this:
The sketch runs on a Wemos Mini ESP8266 using just a phototransistor to monitor the time between led-pulses on the powermeter. Timing is then converted to actual Watt usage.

Arduino sketch for ESP8266 attached below, with some instructions on connecting the phototransistor in the sketch (in Dutch).
This sketch has been running for me for more than 6 months without problems.
As an alternative you can have a look at ESPEASY, that is able to measure pulselengths:
