What is your jumper setting? And is it complete impossible to send on commands?
Jumper settings:

You can choose setting 1.5m 3.3m 4.7m
Choose 3.3m

Setting for different ID's A0-A7 i think.
My setting now is A1 High wich gives ID 075555

Have not checked all possibilities.

Without hardware tweaks i think it will not send on commands.
What are your settings now?
Please a printscreen..

No only when you open the door it sends an off signal.
When you close the door it doesn't send a signal.

Paul..
Do you now more?
Well i did check it with my sdr dongle and sdrsharp.
Transmission time is short as we already knew.

The sensors are here and working but indeed no ON command...

What could be an possibility to tweak this device to send a on command?
I will try it to manage it but no clue where to start. I'm not afraid for some soldering but where...

My two door sensors arrived yesterday and i did some tests.
The device will transmit the Off signal (only) for about 2 seconds which is equally long as the LED on the device lights.
Compared it to a AMST-606 which transmits twice as long. Not a real big deal for a door sensor but i surely wouldn't want that as PIR.
Recorded the experiment on youtube.

If you do it like this it's actually switching a 'ON' switch to 'OFF' so it makes a little more sense:
blocky2.jpg
blocky2.jpg (31.21 KiB) Viewed 6472 times
The first time you activate the blocky event it will switch ON the light and change the switch status to ON. Every time you open the door it wil switch back the contact to OFF, the light will go ON for 1 minute and the contact is set back to ON.

Hi, I'm new here and I have read this thread.

I've ordered 4 of these door sensors to implement into my domotica system. I will let you know how this will work out for me. I've ordered them yesterday from ebay so they will take a while to get in Rotterdam.
RPI 3b+, PiFace 2, RFcom, Aeon Zwave USB, Aeon Home Energy Meter Gen 5, several Shelly switches, several ESP8266 sensors.

Low cost window/door sensor

Post by bizziebis »

I recieved my 2 door sensors like the one the topic starter has. The big difference is that they report as lighting 4 and they send only a ON command.

Even better then I expected :D

Bought these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181185686979
2 pieces for € 5,29
12 days delivery time

I received also the 2 sensors I've ordered 3 weeks ago. I'll try them this week! I hope my sensors will also report an 'on'-state.

Hmmm, this is strange. I have the same sensors and they send the “Off” command. Maybe jumper settings?
