Tomorrow I'll have another go at it.
Same issue here, went back to version 3.8005 and running smoothly again with very low CPU load.
Wondering the root cause of failure.

already have a topic open for that on the Dutch forum (https://www.synology-forum.nl/synology- ... /msg225817), but a solution has not yet been found.
I don't think it's the same problem. I can reach and use my NAS and all other packages on it. Only Domoticz is giving me a hard time. When I add a few lua scripts, the NAS is soon running on 99% and I can't open Domoticz anymore in the browser. Other packages, nzbget, sickbeard, etz. are still working and can be reached via the browser.

I saw a sql process running at about 50% and stopped Spotweb and MariaDB (updated MariaDB a few days ago), but still the same result.

Jadahl manage to send me a package for my DS414 with Domoticz version 3.8005 and that is running fine now for about 15 minutes. One dead (Zwave) node, so I have to figure out what that is all about, but everything else seems to be smooth and steady !

He won't be back for another 14 days and so he will probably release a newer version than 3.8.034 :D

Curl works for me on my Synology with the same version.

Edit:

If you still want to downgrade, you will need the .spkg package for your Synology (I'm guessing you run it on your Synology?), and you will have to backup your scripts first and make a backup of your DB within Domoticz. After that you have to delete Domoticz and install the .spkg manually, import the DB and upload your scripts (set the CHMOD to the right values).

Anyone else having problems visiting Jadahl's website? I needed his Synology package for the 413J, but although the site seems to be up, I can't seem to connect.

Just updated to the latest, but now I get this error message:

Code: Select all

2017-07-25 19:15:49.011 Error: EventSystem: in /usr/local/domoticz/var/scripts/dzVents/runtime/dzVents.lua: cannot open /usr/local/domoticz/var/scripts/dzVents/runtime/dzVents.lua: No such file or directory
The dzVents.lua isn't there. Does anyone have this file for me so I can shut this error down....?

Edit:

switching off dzVents (which I'm not using) solved the sh*tload of errors :)

The path also doesn't seem right, it should be something like:

/volume1/@appstore/domoticz/var/scripts etc. right?

So Domoticz does work for now, but the log is cluttered with this error message. Every 1 or 2 seconds .....

@jumbotroll : Thanks, your back again with updated releases. :)

Hopefully we're soon also able to use dzVents 2.x, cause now it doesn't work and do we have to disable it to prevent errors.

Thumbs up for your great help!!

In setup/settings/other

Check the box before 'disable dzevents'.

Hi guys. I've been using domoticz for a couple of years but it's my first time on Syno. So I'm really sorry if this sounds stupid, but...

I'm running DSM 6.1 on 215j.
I didn't really want to chance it with beta package for 6.1 as I run quite a lot of different devices and sensors and re-installs are usually a serious pain.

I'm bit lost trying to navigate the version numbering used in the Jadahl package source. For comparison...

My Raspi runs latest stable 3.5877.

On Syno I used http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable_6/ - Which is marked as 3.5877 - once installed shows as 3.5876 So why is it only 76? Am I supposed to update after installation? From what I understand I can only disable built-in update check and update through package center. Which shows no update. So am I missing something or is it a typo on Jadahls web?
Also...
When I try to add source for 6.0 beta or 6.1 beta I am offered Domoticz v3.0.7067-7 and v3.0.8134-7 respectively.
What version are these...? Domoticz Git only shows 3.5878 and 3.7988 ... I mean..Jebus, my head is spinning!
From what I see here... if I can live without scripts (DzVents) beta seems quite stable... Is it worth the possible risk?

Thanks in advance for any help with this cluster**** of a question!
