HS-WS100+ support

Post by kllngtme »

Hello!

I recently just got this switch going. It supports 1,2,3 taps as well as a hold feature. I tested it with a few scenes and it works nicely.

Only thing I'm trying to do is turn off the nightlight on it! The feature is with the GE 12722 light switches and from looking at the Homeseer site, it should be supported Image. With Homeseer it just says "LED Mode".

Any ideas how to get this included in Domoticz?

Ok so a further update with this. I'm always too quick and anxious to report something working and such. There does seem to be a problem with the single, double, and triple taps.

I set a scene up to turn an outlet on via double tap up or turn off the outlet via double tap down. So, it works. However, on single tap where it turns on the ceiling light, single tap also turns on the outlet like it's a double tap. When you turn off the ceiling light with a single tap it also turns off the outlet like I did a double tap. Here's the kicker- double taps work. If I double tap up, it turns the outlet on only. If I double tap down only the outlet turns off. So it seems like the idx tables are the same for each set of clicks almost. If I setup a triple click scene, it doesn't work and only uses the double tap scene I setup.

I still haven't found a way to turn off the LED night light either - I have a piece of tape over the light! :/

Ahh I see now... maybe it's something to do with central scene! https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave/pull/1125

I recently purchased one of these too (HomeSeer HS-WS100+ wall switch). gizmocuz's comments in https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave/pull/1125 (see June 28 and Nov 9) suggested to me that the double- & triple-tap functionality should now be working in Domoticz. I'm now using Domoticz beta version 3.8775 and I can't get it work.

Basic on/off switch functionality works. I tried excluding and re-including the switch but that didn't fix the problem.

OpenZWave recognizes Central Scene functionality in the switch:

Code: Select all

2017-12-09 12:58:56.946 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Scene Count, Instance: 0
2017-12-09 12:58:56.946 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Scene KeyAttribute, Instance: 1
2017-12-09 12:58:56.947 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Scene ID, Instance: 2
2017-12-09 12:58:56.947 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Scene Number, Instance: 128
2017-12-09 12:58:56.947 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Button, Instance: 3
2017-12-09 12:58:56.948 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Scenes Identical, Instance: 4
2017-12-09 12:58:57.213 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 38 (0x26), CommandClass: CENTRAL SCENE, Label: Supported Key Attributes All Scenes, Instance: 5
However, I'm not seeing any response on double- or triple-taps.

OpenZWave is reporting version 1.4.2713:

Code: Select all

2017-12-09 11:02:21.765 Always, OpenZwave Version 1.4.2713 Starting Up
This surprised me since it looks like version 1.5 was released over a year ago. However, I think gizmocuz said he was using a patched version to get the Central Scene support. I installed this version of Domoticz using the update functionality within Domoticz.

The OpenZWave control panel from Domoticz is showing the correct number of key presses under "Current Values" for the device.

I noticed there's still no update really on this. I'm curious if anyone has tried to remove the switch and re-add it again to try to get the centralscene portion to work. Similar to what's mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=16372

I actually disconnected this in the meantime as I don't have full functionality to use it properly.
