Ah, I'm at work and can't try that at the moment. So in short: when I use the switch, the status is sent and then the devices will appear in the (unused) devices list :) ? Seems logical to me. Will try this tonight, thanks !

Hi ,

I had problem with sending back to the xiaomi gateway , it shows ERR

Code: Select all

2017-04-12 16:45:27.774 User: warmaniac initiated a switch command (109/Xiaomi RGB Gateway/On)
2017-04-12 16:45:27.926 Error: XiaomiGateway: unable to write command - Invalid Key
in domoticz it looks okay

Image

Domoticz is running on Raspberry PI which is on same network as Xiaomi Gateway, in Raspberry is allowed UDP as you show on your site.
Tried to refresh key in xiaomi APP, it won't work .

Hi, I just configured a raspberry pi with domoticz. I want to add the Xiaomi Gateway, but it is not in the Hardware list. I already cleared the browser cache. Can you help me?

My question is how to send a command to the gateway to play the doorbell sound.
Finally figured it out while reading the thread again

Had to trigger the MP3 gateway by first upload a mp3 with the Mihome app on my android. Now it works !

I don't think so. How can I check it?

I simply run

Code: Select all

sudo curl -L install.domoticz.com | sudo bash

on my RP3 with Jessy

Thank you for your response.

I've only ever compiled the beta, but would assume it is easy to download and install from https://www.domoticz.com/downloads/

always can't send command to the gateway

Code: Select all

Error: XiaomiGateway: unable to write command - Invalid Key
but after update , I've seen when xiaomi gateway connecting to domoticz this shows

Code: Select all

2017-04-13 09:38:39.556 XiaomiGateway: Worker started...
2017-04-13 09:38:39.556 XiaomiGateway: Using 192.168.2.8 for local IP address.
but that IP adress i IP adress of Domoticz server running, not xiaomi gateway, Gatway has 192.168.2.78 , may it be that problem what I had ?

Check the battery status of just four door switches, but since April 11, I received no status. Work with the latest official beta

This probably is the reason why I don't get the Battery Status back in Domoticz after deleting them....

Edit:

After updating to the latest Domoticz, I noticed that all Xiaomi doorsensor statuses where "Open". When I open the door and close it again, the status is updated to "Closed", and the status is OK again. Is this a known issue? Would it be possible to check the real status of the sensors so the statuses are OK the next time I restart or update Domoticz?

When Domoticz or the Xiaomi hardware device is restarted, it queries for the current state of devices. It should only update device state if there was a change from the last state - that is the intended operation.

Since this is not happening, it indicates a problem with your Domoticz settings, or in my code.

Well, I hope it's not in my settings (what setting could be wrong, it is open or closed), so maybe other users can try?

And, what about the battery statuses. Have you seen that they are not updating in the latest beta? Might be a small problem in the code I think.

Has anyone tried to connect more than one Xiaomi gateway to Domoticz?

I'm thinking of buying a second one, just to use for a hallway night light (that can be switched on via presence sensor).. but don't want to buy another if it will interfere with my current one (or won't work in Domoticz at all)

Just buy xiaomi socket + any source of light you like.
