Hi!
i use a raspberry pi 3 and a aeon z-wave gen5 module, i need a little help to make some settings.
How can i get node 16 in the picture to go straight to node 1, and not go trough other nodes, and also exclude other nodes to be able to connect through node 16?
Node 16 is a id doorlock, and according to the manufacuturer i must make a straight connection to the aeon stick, and no other nodes can go through the door lock node, this is just to prevent the batteries in the doorlock to run out of power to fast.
That battery drain has been a big problem,
The manufacturer also told me that polling should be deactivated, i have deactivated polling under hardware/settings, is this the only way, or is there some other settings that also needs to deactivate polling?

You can't control how the mesh network builds up.
It's up to the manufacturer to indicate weither or not it's a routing device.

Re: need some help with node configuration
i have another question, as you can see in the picture above the nodes are named 1,2,3,4,5,7,16 number 6 was removed, and the gap between 7 to 16 was made when i tried to ad a switch that was hard to include, so i had to exclude it alot of times, that why the gap was made, but how can i get nodes nicely done, from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8? is it possible to rename them so that they get in order?

Re: need some help with node configuration
Node id's are sequential and count up from the biggest one. Hard reset the controller and include everything again is the only way to renumber them.
Shouldn't be a problem as zwave supports 255 nodes. What happens after that, I don't know. I hope they fill up the gaps then.

Re: need some help with node configuration
Thanks for the Quick reply, about polling, If I deactivate polling in Domoticz for just a switch, is the polling totally stopped then? Or is there also polling settings in the Aeon Z-Stick?
