Toon buttons not working

Post by Swami »

Hi All,

I've been setting up my Toon in Domoticz (using https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Toon) and the strangest thing is that from my created switch the mode selector switches are not functioning. I find this strange because the JSON commands used work like they should. So when I paste this commands in a webbrowser my Toon switches to the respective mode.

I wouldn't bother you guys if I hadn't tried the obvious already like removind and adding again but this has got me puzzeled. Must be something simple though but when you know the solution afterwards it mostly is :-)

Hope you guys can help and thanks!
Tim

You should probably add the IP of your Domoticz server to the in the safe network settings (system settings on Domoticz) or add your username and password to your JSON command: http://username:password@ip/json.....

@jjnj

I'm not sure how to add the IP of Domoticz to the safe IP adresses but your answer got me thinking. When adding the <UID>:<PASSWD>@ to the JSON string it still did not work but after I've switched the Website-Projection settings to 'Basic-Auth' it worked. I can now also use the Toon push buttons.

Thanks! Kudo's for you :-)

Apparently when using 'logon page' as authentication method the command cannot handle the logon screen. Issue solved!
