High temperature sensor

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a temperature sensor for high temperatures (40-120°C), supported by RFXCOMM/Domoticz ?
Goal is to start an heat recovery fan in the fireplace hood as soon as the temperature reaches 40-50 degrees therein.
Of course I could do it with a simple thermostat, but I would rather do it via my home automation system...

The Maverick ET-722 BBQ/smoke sensor can be used for example.

That sounds like an interesting suggestion... I looked to all kind of devices, but I didn't think to a BBQ probe, I must admit ....

I have that sensor for my bbq's, indeed it works with Domoticz. (I use it to keep an eye on the smoker during long sessions).
I am not sure how long the battery will last if you keep it turned on.
You would only need the transmitter part, not the receiver. Maybe you can get it as a spare part.

But you can also use a (waterproof) DS18B20 sensor, they also go up to 125 degrees C.
It would need some additional components though.

Well, if I go for that solution, I will replace the battery by a wall adapter.

I'm running that sensor on its batteries for three months now.... Not showing any wekaness so far...

what receiver do I need to connect this transmitter to Domoticz? Do you recommended the Maverick ET732 or the Maverick ET733? Is it seen as a temperature device within Domoticz? How fast is the temperature updated?

I use the RFXCOM.

I have the ET732 but the ET733 seems like the follow up model.

I did find the ET733 under the christmas tree today looks and feels good !

When searching for new devices, Domoticz finds 3 new, 2 temperature sensors and 1 BBQ meter. The temperature sensors are added and displayed in the dashboard but I am not able to find the BBQ meter. Is this correct or ?

Does anyone have a solution to add the BBQ meter

I have a problem with the Maverick termometer.

I can see it under the "Device" tab,with correct values and everything, but when i add it, it dont show in the "Temperature" tab.

Someone else that has this problem?
