hi,
I had to reset my Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5 contoller which is connected to my Synology server. Each time I am rebooting Synology, it keep changing the serial port from /dev/ttyacm0 to /dev/ttyacm1 or /dev/ttyacm1 to /dev/ttyacm0. Any idea how to prevent it from changing the serial port after a restart?
thanks
G

Have you read the Wiki?
Don't know if applicable to Synology, but it's Linux, you can try this.

Maybe if you want to use lsusb, you should install usbutils with ipkg.
Hope this helps (maybe a bit late but want people who have the same question to find an answer), I'm in the same process.

Same problem here. I had to change from the old stick to Gen5 and now the ttyACM keeps switching between 0 and 1. Have you found a solution for Synology?

Is that with Jadahl's package?

Yes. The latest DSM6 stable release. Is that with Jadahl's package?
Another (related?) problem is that after each reboot of the Synology the driver fails. After disconnecting and reconnecting the stick it works again.

Strange, never seen this with my S2 stick. I'm planning a replacement, will monitor this topic
Maybe an idea to contact Jadahl to see wth he thinks of it?
