Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?

Post by jorcat »

Does anybody tried this suite with Domoticz?

This smart suite is very cheap, but I don't know if their modules/protocols are compatible with Domoticz. It seems that use ZigBee protocol, but I can't find more info, or a API to interact with the items.

More info:
there are four main sensor devices:

-Main hub that provides interaction between sensors and processing of incoming signals and then loads data to network;
-Motion Sensor;
-Sensors for installation on a door or window, signaling their opening;
-Technological analogue of doorbell in a wireless version.

It would be awesome to get working with Domoticz, and I would try, but so far could not enable developer mode on my Hub. Might not be the right version.

I've still got some fixes to do for the Yeelight anyway.

Gateway looks need 1.41 fw.

I order a full kit pir, door, switch, temp, cube gateway hopping they will arrive soon.

2 domoticz integration way is possible :
- Native as a new hardware
- And MQTT one, using node red and a parser

Just order it, actually it take more than 30 days from china to france with free ali shipping.

We have to finish yeelight first.

Have you test py script + mqtt mentioned before ?

I'm starting a plugin for the gateway, can use some of what I learnt with Yeelights to help. Haven't tried to get the py script going. Do have simple C# code that listens to the UDP packets.

The first thing I plan to get working is the motion sensors, I know this will be straight forward. It would be good if you can help test when your order arrives, even better if you can help writing the code!
