Notifications always appear on two lines
I've tried to use notifications on my phone with both Prowl and Pushover. I think I'm going to stick with Pushover, for the Android support.
But anyway, I've entered a message in the 'Custom message' field as such:
There is someone at the front door.
But when the notification comes on my phone, it appears twice (see screenshot).
Is there anyway I can set a title, and the main notification text in the above Custom Message field? Or at least, just have one line showing?

Re: Notifications always appear on two lines
I think it is the same as this problem: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6352 (body is used as subject also). But according to gizmocuz it should be fixed >= version 2411
I am not active on this forum anymore.

Re: Notifications always appear on two lines
Well in my version of Domoticz, which is higher (which is what I think that's referring to) it's still appearing in both the subject and body.
Maybe there should be two fields (like sending a custom notification from Settings), rather than just one field for 'Custom Message' for a switch?

Re: Notifications always appear on two lines
Does this happen for anyone else or is it just me? I would think it a bit strange if it was, I'm not doing anything special...
It happens on both Pushover and Prowl though, and even carries the same behaviour through to my mac. So I believe there should be something within Domoticz to allow separation of Subject and Body on custom messages.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Yeah, im understanding that. Is there anyway to provide both a subject and body message within the one custom message field in Domoticz?
Re: Notifications always appear on two lines
Did you ever get anywhere on this - I get the same effect - from a notification on a manually created dummy switch custom message appears as both Subject and Body - if no custom message then I get <device name> >> <state> (e.g. test 1 >> OFF ) as both subject and body.

No, didn't get anywhere. No one replied with any additional info, and I didn't end up working it out.
I might go back to it, as there's been quite a few updates since, and see if it's any different.

Re: Notifications always appear on two lines
Looking at the source it looks like the subject should be set to "Domoticz" in case the subject is equal to the message, so guess they are not 100% the same or something isn't working as it is supposed to.

Re: Notifications always appear on two lines
Hi, do not know what I changed, but since today, I get all my notifications 7 times. Independant of the system (email / Prowl / Pushbullet).
Anyone a clue where to look?
Thanks.
UPDATE:
Got it fixed: My devices were recursively triggering each-other, hence multiple notifications were send. I moved the devices to slave, and made the master send the notifications, this fixes it.
